Gen. Wallace (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, September 18, 2008 - 08:25 pm ~Primary Issue~ I have loads of gasoline(590k) but my units are always out of it, and I have Supply Units stationed even after I have clicked the replenish link? Why? Some units they jump right on the job of replenishing them, but for the others they just stay stationed... I have over 6 units that need to be replenished. They have been ordered to move months ago and still have not moved do to lack of gasoline... They for some reason are -?K supply on gasoline, and again the supply units stay stationed. ~Secondary Issue~ Why do I have units that I have attacked with many time successfully become defensive units? I am in the middle of a war, and have attacked twice and now it says they are defensive units and can not attack. But for some reason I can move them anywhere I wish. One of these units has been like that since my last war about 2~3 game years earlier... |
Great Britannia (Fearless Blue) | Friday, September 19, 2008 - 01:29 am Ok, I can help you with both of your issues. Now i'll get with the second issue because it seems important when you're in a war right now, So lets begin. Now you can't use your Defense unit to attack, They are stationed because they are at your Country to defend! (During a War it can be a Decoy for the enemie to send their troops to attack yours!) Your defense units can move freely because you have the ability to place them in the position that you feel comfortable from keeping your country safe from enemies attack, So use your Attack units with no (Defense) in their title. Now to the ~Primary Issue~! Well it depends on what ways did you wanted to replenish your Units, Air Droppings is where the risk you wanna take to lose your supplies, Its a 75% of your supplies chance, and if you did the other option besides the Air Dropping then i can't help you from at this point, Or you can revise your issues so i can improve in understanding it. |
Great Britannia (Fearless Blue) | Friday, September 19, 2008 - 01:33 am Please excuse me for the last typo, I can help you if you revise your issue for the Primary. If you chose Ground Unit option than the Airdropping then you should probrally check your Supply Units see if they are loosing resources from moving. If you can't move on with my help then you can message me or get to someone else, This is only enough for me to say to my Knowledge about your issue. |
Gen. Wallace (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, September 24, 2008 - 09:26 am I use ground units... 75% is too much of a lose and think that should be revised. How do I check my supply units for lose? Why do they lose anything? They just don't refill my units. I never see them doing it not midstream of it. My units are always empty. When I click the refill units button they don't do it. They have done it for other unit when I click the reload option. A lot of the time they(supply units) just don't do anything... I have 4, 2 small and 2 large. |
Jack Jones (Golden Rainbow) | Thursday, September 25, 2008 - 03:06 am You need a LOT more supply units. You should have 1 supply unit for every garrison and military unit you have. What I do is strip my supply units to 1 jeep and and enough trucks to have ~ 1000 each of military supplies and gas. Once you get 30-100 of those guys moving around you won't have to worry about your army running out of gas again. |
Dave33 (Fearless Blue) | Thursday, September 25, 2008 - 10:03 pm Yes, you need lots of supply units. 4 units isn't enough. I have hundreds running around my empire. At the begining of the game month they fan out and resupply my troops. I have a problem of keeping my air transport units full of fuel. I just dismantle them and rebuild when I need them. There's a new problem. Like Jack Jones, I used a single jeep only per supply unit. Presently, SC won't allow a single jeep any more. |
Pathetic Sheep (White Giant) | Sunday, September 28, 2008 - 12:29 am What you need is trucks. If you build supply units with the standard blueprint you will have enough trucks to supply the weapons in the unit. The supply unit will be capable of supplying itself and shouldn't run out of gas. That won't help resupply any other units. Build all of your supply units at once. Give them ~30% of the military supplies and gasoline that you have in your country. If you need more trucks buy them. I always use jeeps in my supply units. The other units just waste gas, supply, and cost a lot. Jeeps are cheaper than bombs and missiles so even if you are attacked lots of jeeps will take out lots of enemy ammo. |
ilou0490 (Fearless Blue) | Wednesday, October 29, 2008 - 11:31 pm First i bought 1 Fleet command, 1 Helicopter carrier and 1 Aircraft carrier but iv'e looked everywere but i dont know how to put them into the water? |
Dave33 (Fearless Blue) | Thursday, October 30, 2008 - 04:27 am The ships will appear on the map soon. It might be a couple game months before you take delivery of the new ships. You can check on them by going to the war page and clicking on organize fleet. There's no need to put them in the water. In this sim, you can even place the ships on land. |
