Tuesday, September 16, 2008 - 05:57 am I dont understand what i could of changed for this to happen.. its been 2 months now, ALL my corps are not selling anything, unless it was in a contract(and even then, only 1 or 2 contracts are fullfilled) I have enough supplies, my productions and hiring at 100%+, i havent changed my trading strategy(or at least, not for all corps), so i dont understand why none of my products are being sold.. What could of gone wrong? The only major change is that i joined a common market..

Tuesday, September 16, 2008 - 09:10 am Your prices are too high for what consumers are willing to pay and/or there is too little demand for what you are selling.

Tuesday, September 16, 2008 - 05:55 pm Its impossible, unless the WG market suddenly dropped in everything.. and just to be sure, i did already check on a few random products i sell, in some cases the surplus is even more negative.. and now its been 4 months like this, i really dont understand!

Thursday, September 18, 2008 - 02:25 pm I noticed this too, around 1 week ago i sudenly stoped to sell anything with the same strategies that worked till than. Now it seems i can only sell with best price strategy.

Thursday, September 18, 2008 - 06:44 pm I could answer this, but I need a little incentive... I better find Samuelson's Foundations of Economic Analysis first edition on my doorstep when I wake up. Set your selling strategies to something like this: Increase 15% Decrease 5% every month offer isn't sold. After that, go to the offer/retract products page - you can find the link on top of the My corps page. Retract all your offers and offer them again. If you do this, the offers your corps issued will continue to use the old selling strategy you had set up. If those offers remain unsold, the game will change the strategy to "immediate (sale)" on (just those) offers. Now, where's my book? If you don't have it, I'll settle for a link to Bach's works on mp3 format.

Thursday, September 18, 2008 - 11:25 pm This issue actually happened to me, when i became a member. Before that happened, I never had even "some products unsold". Then, I became a member, nothing else changed, and all of a sudden the same strategies that I used before, did not work at all.

Saturday, September 20, 2008 - 02:56 am "in some cases the surplus is even more negative" Just because there is a higher demand for goods, it doesn't mean that your goods will be bought at any price. Its takes game years of continuous large deficit market situations for there to be a panic that allows you to make record profits. "Before that happened, I never had even "some products unsold"." Before you were a member, you were only selling your goods at "best price" strategy, you had no unsold goods because you were forced to sell at rock bottom prices.
