jabnetworking | Tuesday, February 26, 2013 - 11:39 pm Anyone noticing supply shortages hurting their corporations as of late? Either I have no clue as to how to play this game OR something is afoot. |
SweetPea | Wednesday, February 27, 2013 - 01:22 am It happens, nothing wrong. Supply can sometimes be delayed due to excessive demand. Improve your offers for supplies or be patient. It'll work itself out. |
Alyan Locien | Wednesday, February 27, 2013 - 04:22 am i had the same thing. 90% of my corps all ran out of suppies. for almsot two days. i just got them going again. :-/ |
jabnetworking | Wednesday, February 27, 2013 - 05:20 am I see that Alyan, I thought I was the only one. Someone else is catching the same grief as my country. James the Fair | Thursday, February 28, 2013 - 09:52 pm Whats the corps buying strategy at? |
Alexander Olympus | Friday, March 1, 2013 - 07:10 am If you are a free member, your buying strategy doesn't matter since it automatically buys at "best price". I'm having the same problem right now. There are a few solutions for the free player to solve this. One option is to just keep an eye on your corps and change any product order which has a shortage to "immediate". You'll end up paying about 20% more for product this way, but you'll get the product. Another option is to somehow contract those products in high demand. This likely is the most costly, as you'll almost certainly be paying for higher quality. However, you won't have to keep constant vigilance over your supplies this way. You could also decide to cancel your country and start over on another world. I know GR doesn't have this problem, as I just moved from there. Products on LU nearly all have ridiculously high demand because of the large number of players. "Best price" just doesn't get your products in on time in this situation. The final option is to become a full member. Then you'll be able to adjust your buying strategy accordingly and not be forced to buy at "best price". Hope this helps. |
jabnetworking | Friday, March 1, 2013 - 07:13 am James, the corps buying strategy = buy at 100% and increase by 10% if not bought. Seven, im going to tape my eyes open before I go to bed, that cat is acting strange, lotsa claw sharpening on the couch. Hmmm. Sorry to take so long to respond, really bad weather is making getting to college difficult. Newcastle - "a country wary of kitties" |
