jabnetworking | Monday, February 25, 2013 - 03:26 am I am a player on Little Upsilon and I started a Land Based Cruise Missle Battery corporation. Not to wage war against my kind, human neighbors. No! to attack c3 countries. I have contracted all production of the corp. to my home country. When I check supplies of my home country, there are no missle batteries in stock. Am I missing something? Are these weapons being destroyed as fast as I can make them? Any help? 'Newcastle' |
Kel | Monday, February 25, 2013 - 03:43 am Hmm.. That is strange Jabnet. Land Based Cruise Batteries are not able to be sold on the LU world market, so they should auto-contract to your home country by default. Sounds like a good question to email the GM with. As an alternative.. Have you considered trying to trade directly with other players for cruise missiles? It is faster and cheaper lol.. Your LBCMB corp will only produce 3 batteries per month, and run at a loss while doing so. |
jabnetworking | Monday, February 25, 2013 - 04:33 am Kel, Sir I appreciate your good advice. Yes, the corp. runs at a loss, okay whatever, I have many profitable corps. I do not wish to trade Cruise Missle Batteries on the open market, it's not about profit. I just want to get those sleepy c3 countries that are sitting near my country. But I cannot figure this out, my corporation makes Cruise Missle Batteries, has full production contracted to my home country. Yet my country shows up as having none. i think this may be a GM issue. Gaz | Monday, February 25, 2013 - 11:15 am Using LBC for c3's is overkill Jabnet. I'd use mid range missile batts instead. There much cheaper. Save your LBC for more important targets. Once you get them lol. |
Crafty | Tuesday, February 26, 2013 - 12:13 am Sure they're not still in the corp Jab? Maybe the trade wont go through if you dont have the $$$ or spend space. And yeah to Gazs statement, far to expensive for C3 use. |
SweetPea | Tuesday, February 26, 2013 - 12:18 am I use them all the time for c3s. Maybe I just have too many :s |
Gaz | Tuesday, February 26, 2013 - 12:33 am There's no such thing as too many LBC |
jabnetworking | Tuesday, February 26, 2013 - 05:59 am This is a weird one folks. My corporation is, in fact, producing them. The corporation production shows this as fact. I read the corporate contract and it is solid, until i cancel it. No matter where I look, those weapon systems are just not there. I have e mailed the GMaster and yet to hear back. I will let you know if something develops. "Newcastle", a pet friendly country |
SweetPea | Tuesday, February 26, 2013 - 01:57 pm I could have sworn the same was happening in a few countries on FB where I recently built a bunch of weapons and ammo for self production. I can't be 100% certain but I know the same thought crossed my mind. I'll keep a tighter eye on things. |
SweetPea | Tuesday, February 26, 2013 - 02:32 pm Well everything looks good here on my end. all weapons and ammo production accounted for. I'm not sure what your problem could be. Can you post your country name here if you haven't already. It would probably also benefit you to ask the gms to look into it in an email. It is probably just a misunderstanding on your part. |
SweetPea | Tuesday, February 26, 2013 - 02:37 pm From what I can see, there is a month of production in the corp. You are selling production in the last game year at least. But you have to remember that the production is what 3 lbc per month? So that isn't that many. It is very possible you are destroying them faster than can be produced if you are using them in war. |
Andy | Tuesday, February 26, 2013 - 04:39 pm We have looked into it and answered the mail. You need an offensive base to have offensive weapons and otherwise the weapons are removed. The code is there from the start. We have given that country an offensive base and the batteries too so the specific case is resolved. The code is now removed and there will be no such checks starting next week. Thanks for the remarks. There was no need for these limitations any more. We are currently counting the number of units per military base of any type rather then checking specific types of weapons. |
jabnetworking | Tuesday, February 26, 2013 - 07:04 pm Well, there we have it folks. Thank you Andy for looking into this issue. When I woke up today all offensive weapons are in my country's stock and accounted for. I not a "war player" type, so I had no clue as to the "you must have an offensive base" thing. Lesson learned by me. Thanks for all the help. |
