Dear Presidents of Little Upsilon,
A new organization is underway on Little Upsilon - NONONLUO. Leading this effort is myself and long-time game veteran, KETO.
This organizaton is in response to the NLUO's game philosophy so as to offer an alternative choice to the presidents on Little Upsilon. Our organization is designed to teach and support each other in both the economy and military game. We are a group where every President will have a choice and the freedom to run their countries/empires with no dictorial regulations.

Dear Kabner (Alyan),
You should be able to have the freedom to join whatever fed or organization that you like without fear of reprisal from your group. I believe that Hezzy has stated that there is some rule that officers cannot be lured away from the NLUO, that it is considered treasonous??? I think every player should be able to pick and choose where they "fit" best into the game and a group which echoes their gaming philosophy.
However, it would be rather strange were you to be a member of both, if this is what you are asking. |

It is againts the "law" for a member of NLUO, ( even more so part of the .gov ) to be a member of an anti-nluo.gov. I guess i can't play the "patriot by day, terrorist by night ". game. :p
Also, you must remeber that thur is two NLUO's You got the NLUO.gov and the NLUO.org. The .gov is the Federation. and the .org is the world one. Well, i guess you can say thur is 3 NLUO's, as you also have NLUO-CM ( Common Market. ) |

Please mind your words. This is merely a game. There have been feds a plenty who have formed because they have had different gaming philosophies. I personally have no issues with the NLUO existing as you should not have issues with any other organization existing on LU. And ones opinion on "what is right" may be different than yours. I applaud you on your efforts in creating the NLUO, its concept. I know alot of thought and hard work went into it. My group is not to be considered a threat, but to only offer another choice to those presidents residing on LU.
Furthermore, I highly doubt anything going on relative to the NLUO would be the reason for Wendy to quit. She loves this game, she is good at this game, and again, it is a game. There is nothing personal going on here.

The NONONLUO organization is not designed to do anything harmful to any fed unless threatened, I think in all your hysteria and outrage, you miss the purpose. Our group is just the formation of another fed group on LU to offer the presidents of LU another choice of how to play their game. This is the way the game has been played for years. Did you and the NLUO change the rules for the game?
I, personally, have never threatened the NLUO with war. So, please stop dreaming things up. You seem more concerned about our fed formation than you do with Hydra, why is that???? I am rather flattered that you give me so much power as a threat to you and the NLUO. However, this is not our intention, unless otherwise provoked.
Furthermore, if you do not even recognize our group, you seem to be giving it a lot of your time and energy in these forums. Why is that? :-)

Happy NEW YEAR! Again, the NONONLUO is recruiting presidents who wish to play a fun, productive game. We have experienced players very knowledgeable in the war and econ game. We are interested in recruiting new players and teaching the game.
Despite the false propoganda, it is our aim to co-exist with all federations and groups on LU, including the NLUO. We are not an agressive federation, but will defend our organization if threatened with war. Our Name, NONONLUO, is to merely state, that NO we will not be bullied by the NLUO by not joining them and to tell them that presidents on LU DO have a choice.

The way I see it is, that NLUO is no better then any other fed. I mean, I agree that the starting idea of 'making LU a better place' is good, but NLUO policy of 'world government', and its untolerant view of other feds (this is what Hez said in another post about hydra (a fed): "We declared war because they declared war on us by even existing.") just creates more problems (war decs, war threats, etc) than it solves. I mean did you just see the number of agument threads about this on the forums lately??? NLUO simply defeats its purpose.
Only, they veil this reality under lots of good words.
This is my opinion. And I'd be very much surprised if hez or sweaty or someone else from NLUO doesn't agrue with me on what I just wrote, thereby supporting what I am saying (about creating more problems than it solves).

Yeah you did create more problems alright. We in the NLUO are glad you have eyes to look, yet you do not comprehend what it is that you see. Unless that of course is blindness by design, just like the endless arguments and attacks Hezekiah has had to suffer, for simply wanting to play the game in a way that differs from people dying of boredom clickety clacking all day - and to what end? Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if it were by design. None of this really surprises me, this type of attitude has prevailed for some years now and has very little to do with Hezekiah or the NLUO and more to do with the agitators. We all know misery loves company. Why play a miserable type of game when you have the ability to make the game into something more than just a misery of clicking and econ shuffling? I guess doing a 180 at the first sign of adversity is okay for the weak, the weak of heart or mind, both of which I do not doubt you have.
It's NLUO season you better roll with the rush and put our poster up!
And Keep it real, you were bored before you read AAAALLLLLL these posts, that is why you didn't stop at one. In fact ALL these posts actually inspired some kind of action in you. Not only did you read ALL these posts out of a pre-existing boredom but it actually gave you a reason to share your empty thoughts where otherwise no one would have even knew you existed since this thread is about the only place you've posted so far and it is the likeliest place that anyone is going to read your post at all. Alternatively why not join the NLUO. The NLUO is a diplomatic government on Little upsilon who want to help you in game play, defense, and build better relations with other players.
The NLUO is a democratic organization so you could even end up with a position of power in the government.
Please message "King Hezekiah II" who is the president of the NLUO or message him in game on Little upsilon: "Israelite Empire".

I beg to differ. If the entire NLUO were diplomatic, as you say, then actions would have been made by your group against your leader, Hezzy, and SweatPea, for lack of diplomacy, which is all through these forums.
What measures have the NLUO taken to cease the bullying statements, the name calling and the bashing? Has your group in and of itself initiated some sort of disciplinary action against these players?
I didn't think so.
Your group has failed at diplomacy, and trying to come back and right the wrongs without some sort of action against your "problems" speaks loudly. I have one question.

The reason no action has been taken against the presidents aforementioned is because no member of the NLUO government has brought any complaint to the floor to be discussed. We don't simply take action against anyone without a thorough investigation and without knowing all the facts.
As you are possibly aware we have a judicial system set up to work out any diplomatic differences we may have.
I must reiterate myself be saying that you have antagonized the NLUO government by calling your organization "NONONLUO"! This has caused distress to the NLUO government and portrayed us in a negative light to the international community.

I am merely an economic advisor. King Hezekiah II is the Chairman of the NLUO Federation and SweetPea is Madam secretary.
I do not condone or condemn any statement made. This is the job of the game master to moderate the content of the game forum.
There is a process to go through for any NLUO member wishing to discuss any issue they have with any other fellow member.
Any grievances can be sorted out through diplomatic and democratic channels.

Someone needs to be in the NLUO to do anything against NLUO members. However, once you are in the NLUO you can't leave without commiting 'Treason' (if I got it right) and getting all the NLUO on your back. That is what I think gets to me. You've done it with me, you've done it with Stephen Ryan, you've done it with Drew, you've done it with just about everyone in the game. Somewhere deep down you resent the idea that somewhere in the game someone is having fun in a way that doesn't involve you. When I think of the most fun I've had playing, grinding C3s, listening to your BS, and waiting for you to slip on WP wasn't anywhere near the top. Quietly playing the econ game is more fun than that. Everyone can have plenty of fun without you. I'm tired of this BS where you claim everyone who doesn't do exactly what you say is harmful to the game. People will play how they want. You will play how you want. Just stop all the stupid BS. Play the game and stop lecturing people on whether they "improve the game". Frankly, it isn't anyone's job to improve the playing experience for anyone else. If it is useful for playing the game, then it should be done IN ORDER TO PLAY THE GAME and for no other reason.
Keep playing like an asshat, whatever. Just no more lectures, play the game and stop spouting this BS about how you're improving people's playing experience and everyone else harms people's playing experience.

The statements in which I refer to are the bullying statements to other presidents, myself included, by Hezzy and SweetPea because we speak our concerns about the NLUO, which I feel are legitimate concerns and questions. I am NOT referring, per se, to the personal differences between Wendy (SweetPea) and myself. I only mentioned this because all the so called friction between us two ensued after I publicly questioned philosophies of the NLUO and when I defended another president in chat (Crafty) from her constant bullying to gain an apology from him for asking questions and stating concerns in the forum about NLUO. I did take the personal matter up with the Game Master, and action was taken. But it is noteworthy, as said "attack/s" ensued after I publicly questioned the NLUO. I had some questions. Prior to that I in chat, tried to help Hezzy with his group. I advocated publicly for his group. My only concern was a statement made that the NLUO governed all of LU. I disagree/d with this. I can assure you, now that I AM a member of LU, the NLUO does NOT govern me.
I hope that I have made this more clear for you.
What I ask you about are the bully tactics and bashing and name calling that your representatives use with other presidents of LU. I hardly call this diplomatic. Now, I ask, are these individual statements/opinions stated by them alone or are they speaking on behalf of your entire organization, NLUO?
So I ask again, do you condone the representation of your group, the NLUO, by President Hezzy and your madame, SweetPea? |

Well apparently their poor leadership will stand given results of a poorly executed election. As a serious president/player, I would have reservations playing with certain member/s in the group, but that is just me. All I can do is shake my head, because I really think Hezzy worked hard on this effort. I really saw a lot of positives in the concept in the beginning to only be smashed by poor PR and ugliness. All of you people have no involvement with the NLUO, yet you all continue to speak on something that has nothing to do with you at all. To answer josuemasson2's question. If you are not satisfied you are not free to leave? This is not correct. Jackseptic left the NLUO because of pressure from his handlers. Alyan, also left the NLUO because he was influenced by the same people, who claim to not want to have anything to do with the NLUO, yet they make organizations to come against it. We did not attack these people at all for leaving. The propaganda against the NLUO is very great. Like for instance, the issue of condemning free members. I did not condemn free members, but simply said that free memberships are not favorable because you are very limited to what you can do. The game wants paying members. If you pay, we know you want to play. Do we say no fee memberships allowed, NO!!!! All players are free members to start with. We encourage you to buy a membership, but there are many nations in the NLUO with free memberships, and they are in the Legislature, we did have Alyan as the Secretary of LU Security, and he has a free membership. So most of what you hear negative about the NLUO is Propaganda. |
