Danny Miller (Little Upsilon) | Saturday, April 9, 2011 - 03:52 pm Wow- the price of high tech services is plunging on LU. Its fallen form 472 to 264 in a year. The game-masters may need to investigate. |
Slade (Little Upsilon) | Saturday, April 9, 2011 - 04:26 pm Supply and demand. The market is overflooded with them. |
Danny Miller (Little Upsilon) | Saturday, April 9, 2011 - 09:29 pm This seems beyond anything I have noticed before. Even worse than the recent crash in gasoline prices. |
furzebank (Little Upsilon) | Saturday, April 9, 2011 - 10:19 pm yea the price is crazy low. its now on 246 |
Scarlet (Little Upsilon) | Saturday, April 9, 2011 - 10:37 pm It could go down to $170 or even maybe $150 without there being a problem with the game. I believe base price either allows: +50%/-50% or +80%/-40% for Market Price. I haven't look TOO closely. Glad I'm not heavy into HTS, but that Gasoline crash hurt . . . and the Oil slide isn't doing me any good either. :? |
NiAi (Little Upsilon) | Sunday, April 10, 2011 - 12:16 am HTS supply has been quite constant, but demand crashed. GM are fiddling around much atm, wouldent suprise me if they reduced HTS demand in corps. |
Slade (Little Upsilon) | Sunday, April 10, 2011 - 12:21 am Either that or someone dumped a bunch of them on the market all at once. |
Kitsuné (Little Upsilon) | Sunday, April 10, 2011 - 01:17 am It looks like demand fell by 4B suddenly and has held constant at the lower level. Or, maybe the 14B demand was a sudden spike. Can't really tell, the graph cuts off. |
SuperSoldierRCP (Little Upsilon) | Sunday, April 10, 2011 - 02:06 am accully guys Base = the total manufactured cost of a good A price can go as fare down as 20% of the base Base is 100 = it can go aslow as 20 but its allowed be to 90% higher then base |
Scarlet | Sunday, April 10, 2011 - 03:16 am No, base price is a FIXED number whose apparent function is to determine the range market price fluctuates. It would have some relation toward the cost of production, but it has always been a FIXED, unchanging number (barring game updates). Anyway, Navy Missile Interceptors on FB show the bottom range (consistent surplus): Base Price: $9.9M Market Price: $4.4M Market Price is currently 45% of Base Price. |
Crafty (Kebir Blue) | Sunday, April 10, 2011 - 08:50 pm Looking at an average of the cost of my corp supplies, they are reducing, which could be partly the use of less of product as well as low prices of things. Checking various demand graphs, seems to me corps are using less. |
