Caesar Ken (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, January 26, 2011 - 10:40 pm Hey some of you more experienced players. I have a question. Basically, someone has asked me to move a CEO corp from their country because it was causing them more harm than good. It was at 100 percent employment with salaries well over 300. What metric or report can I view to determine if my corp is causing them more harm than good. It's a low profit defense ammo corp hurting in the present economy, but it is fully employed and productive. They chose to bid on it. This would mean that I will get a few hundred billion in a single shot. How can this be of benefit to the hosting nation over just letting me either move the corp or just letting it lie until the market turns around? |
Keto (White Giant) | Wednesday, January 26, 2011 - 10:48 pm Maybe he prefers no ceo's, your corp may not be paying as much to the country as other HT corps do, or he/she prefers certain corporations in his/her country. |
Psycho_Honey (Fearless Blue) | Thursday, January 27, 2011 - 12:56 am Why not just move it? |
Caesar Ken | Thursday, January 27, 2011 - 11:11 pm I was going to move it, but they placed a bid on it. No big deal really. If I am not mistaken, the hosting nation is hurting itself more than it is hurting me. I am assuming that I am making a killing on this deal. I just want to make sure that my thought process isn't too far out of wack and if there was a way to compare how much money a hosting nation may spend to have a private corp versus what the income is. |
Josias (Kebir Blue) | Friday, January 28, 2011 - 01:48 am if they bid on a ceo corp, the ceo can still move it, and if it gets moved in time, the bid is canceled, because a country can not control a corp in another country. in general, bidding is to the sellers advantage, in terms of profit. the money you'll make on the sale, will probably allow you to replace the corp, and still have some change. both of which you probably knew. but i'm with you, i recently had a president tell me i was robbing him by building a medical materials corp... lol |
