Monday, June 15, 2009 - 03:09 pm  Just make a request to any member of the Security Council! Any country that would like me to put forth an aid package please read the conditiosn below. I would like to request that other SC members put forth requests for aid for players and please update this thread if you do so. Any country requesting aid needs to the following conditions: 1) Remove the secrecy for their Financial Index and Strategic Force Index. - Reasoning here is simple, if you have nukes you should already have a decent economy in place to maintain them. Also, I'd like to make sure that you're not going into debt buy constantly buying up weapons. I don't want to support your wet dreams of global proportions. 2) Dismantle any plutonium mines, weapons grade uranium corps, and strategic weapons corps. Of the strategic weapons corps, I will limit this to nuke missiles, nuke sub missiles, tactical nukes, chemical missiles, and strategic bombs. You can produce all the nuke subs, strategic bombers and various weapon launchers you want. 3) Relatively new player - To be this means you're country has been under your control for less than 100 game years. It's basically my way of saying that I won't be giving out aid to vets and I define 'Vets' as those players who've been around for 100+ game years. I'm putting these conditions forth as I don't feel like supporting nutters out there with global ambitions or nuke fetishes. My offer is open to any and ALL who ask (except vets). I will not promise that the resolution will be accepted just that it will be put forth. "The Security Council has 626.19T SC$ in cash." I'd like to see that number drop but really that's up to the community. You can leave a request here, message me at The Union of Lucarnia, or message any of the other 15 council members. | Tuesday, June 30, 2009 - 05:06 am Hey Martock I understanding that you have made it your mission to lend money for the counsel and that is great but most (if not all) of the people are war mongers. Why are we or should we be eager to lend money to lots of people that have no foundation or understanding of the game? They have not built a thing to support their wars. Giving them 5 trillion dollars which they spend on weapons and then enslave and strip others because that is the only way to pay back their loans, Seems a good way to destroy a world. It seems that we are encouraged to promote bad play and if they wanted a war world shouldn't they have joined one?

It's about nation building and nation destroying. Yes, it's likely some of those who get aid will turn right around and use it to buy weapons, but there are also some who'll use that money to better their nation's ability to make money. I give new players the benefit of the doubt for even emailing me as how many new players do you actually think read over the forums? The fact that they found them, found the one for the world they are on, and then took the time to put in a aid request gives me the impression that these are players looking to stick around. They are not the 20-minuteers'...As for destroying the world, I've been here over a year now and haven't seen even the most capable players come close to doing that...and I've seen a LOT of nukes dropped. So, I say support those requesting aid as it gives them a reason to play on. More players always = more fun (read into that if you will...and u should.). Besides, it doesn't cost your nation a dime! @ Adrian Perez - Your Hadrian Protectorate meets the requirements, but your main Hadrian Republic (nuke power / secrecy settings) does not. While I never stated that you can't have an empire or the requesting country be a satellite, you should recognize that if players look into your small empire, they may vote it down. I'll add you to the list but don't take it personal if you get voted down. | Saturday, August 1, 2009 - 04:08 pm I'm sorry I made a mistake I had placed a big on the cash market for some additional SC$ for my country and forgot I had done so (And thus forgot to cancel it). As such it's put me over the SC$ 2T mark so I guess I will have to withdraw my request for the "The Kingdom of Lattos" for the time being. However I am working on investing this money into improving my country once I get bellow the 2T SC$ limit would I be permitted to have my request considered again?

My requirements are such that I don't require you to be in debt to request aid, just that you are a new player and don't have a strategic weapons program running. So, yes, you'll certainly stil be eligible provide you still meet the requirements I listed above.
