Emperor Norberto (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, May 27, 2009 - 06:52 am Is a trillion dollar public corporation a good? Whats a good value for a corporation on LU. |
Ravenous Cannibal (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, May 27, 2009 - 07:56 am Varies by product. Products vary with the market. The market price of raw materials is also a factor. Good is debatable. Investment funds will not buy a stock if the price/earnings is over 70 [I think it is 70, not certain]. Earning > 15 billion per year is alright. Aiming for 1T stock value with P/E < 70 would be a good set of targets. If you are buying stock or bidding on a corporation 1T is heinous. Find a cheaper one. |
