Tendo Ryu (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, May 12, 2009 - 11:42 pm I have started a new federation on Little Upsilon and would like to start to recruit members. This federation is aimed at teaching new players the economics of the game and helping them to enjoy the game and take a more active role. Many people have commented that SC is starting to stagnate, so lets try to get new players to stay. I'm asking any seasoned players to get involved in this to help new players. This federation is not aimed at military alliances and joining with one country will not result in any ties being conidered on any world. So new players that wish to join and learn the game and experienced players that have the time and desire to help others learn please message me @ Lament of Esperandus, or leave a response here. Regards, Tendo Ryu |
Ares (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, May 12, 2009 - 11:56 pm Great idea Tendo. I'd be willing to help a couple players at a time. I'd also like to ask that this new federation be 'off limits' so to speak from raiding. To help enforce that, I will lend military aid if needed. I think the game needs this as badly as anything, and would also ask any veterans who agree to post their military support as well. -EO |
Pope Samtator IX (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, May 13, 2009 - 12:24 am You should bring it before Government EO. Speaking for myself I agree and offer military support if needed for this new Fed. |
ShcyzMattiCa (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, May 13, 2009 - 12:57 am Yep, I am with you all on that. Sam as soon as I get a good connection and settle with Gen Bobo, I'll revert to a more peaceful role, and hop onto Govt Fed. |
jason (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, May 13, 2009 - 12:58 am good deal Wendy. hope to see you soon. |
Ravenous Cannibal (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, May 13, 2009 - 01:28 am I could drop a country in it. If you are teaching the game you should also explain the war engine. Making wars off limits is not the best way to do that. |
Ares (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, May 13, 2009 - 01:44 am I have talked with Tendo about this fed. It is intended not so much as a federation, but as a bridge to new players. It will not only teach them basics, but offer them connections to established players, and allow them to find a longer-term federation home. Tendo is an experienced and talented player, and has my confidence in his ability to help players establish profitable countries. @Sheep - this federation is not intended to teach war, but merely to help players get started and learn how to make cash. From there, they can move on and learn the war game if they so choose. |
jason (Fearless Blue) | Wednesday, May 13, 2009 - 01:47 am Sheepy thinks this is a war game. LMFAO |
C.Rabs (Golden Rainbow) | Wednesday, May 13, 2009 - 06:25 am I'm in Tendo |
Xenius (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, May 13, 2009 - 01:35 pm I'm a new player and want to join the federation to learn more about this game. Sincerely, Xenius |
Tendo Ryu (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, May 13, 2009 - 01:57 pm Xenius, what is your country name? Jason, Sam, EO are any of you willing to put a country in and help out? Sheep, i agree that the war aspect is very important in this game, however in this case becoming a fed that teaches war would lay itself open to others attacking it, the idea of this fed would be to teach players the basics of how to run a good economic country, and as EO stated they would then be free to take whatever route they desired afterwards. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated in this, as would that of any experienced player as this is not an undertaking i can do without the support. This 'Academy' can work out bebeficial to everyone! Seasoned players can bring more interest to the game by bringing in more successful new players, and finding new members for their federations. New Players can find more enjoyment in the game by becomming more successful and by making friends in game and alliances. If it wasnt for people like my fed mates on GR, EO and Iki i would not play this game, so lets give new players the same oppurtunity to get on. Experienced players please consider sacrificing a little time, and one country to this academy fed for the benefit of the game. Kind Regards |
