We the Presidents of LU accept these basic truths as the as before unwritten Law of LU. 1. Do not be an asshat. 2. Do not hostile bid. Do not nationalize without advance warning. 3. Do not annoy others in game or on the forums. 4. Its all about respek yo. Give respek and you shall receive respek from others. 5. This is a game. It's not real. Act accordingly. 6. No player has the right to direct the actions of any other player. Each player reserves the right to enact a multitude of consequences for said actions but accepts the basic right to play the game as a sovereign nation without interference. 7. Build a proper defense. If you need help seek the advice of an established Federation for assistance. War is an integral part of the game and as such "Be Prepared". 8. We agree to establish a econ only thread. Presidents who sign this thread are acknowledged to be neutral players who wish to play econ only game. As such they are forbidden to actively engage in military operations, belong to non-econ federations, invade other countries, or assist in wars in any fashion. This applies empire wide. Following these rules will offer the protection of the community at large in case of attack on a declared econ player. Players should name their countries accordingly so as to eliminate any confusion on this matter. 9. Any player has the right to petition the forums in the event of conflict. This will allow the community as a whole to offer advice, offer help, and put conflict in a more equitable light. This is a work in progress. Please feel free to discuss and offer suggestions .

| Friday, May 1, 2009 - 12:11 am I think 1 is too vague and covered sufficiently in 2, 4, 5 (maybe) and 6. Although I appreciate the straightforwardness of such a rule, I think something unifying like: 'Do not be intentionally offensive'. Which is still so vague that I move to strike 1 altogether. 2 has my agreement. 3 is again vague, but the sentiment is just. I suggest something like: 'Do not repeatedly perform annoying actions in game or in the forums'. But still, 'annoying' is too subjective. 4 should definately be rewritten. It is really more of a tip as is and should be covered in a statement like 3. 5 has my agreement. 6 has my firm agreement. 7 has my agreement. 8 interests me. Would it be possible to build an empire through war and then declare as an 'econ only'? Or would I have to acquire countries only through peaceful means (buyouts etc). The former is open to abuse and the latter is surely uncommon. Do I misunderstand? 9 has my general agreement. It seems to be implicating a judiciary of sorts, which would be hard to administer fairly. Overall I think a constitution like this is a valid concept.

Meaning they have a sufficient air defense, batteries to fully cover their cities, and some means to fight back, be it a small fighter, bomber, or LBCM force. This is not much to ask, and I would feel much better throwing my assets on the line if the person I was defending at least had something to blunt their attacker's spear. 7 & 8 should be a bundle deal. Both or neither.

The econ only idea would not involve how you acquire your countries only be binding after you sign the thread. Once done the player would not be allowed to belong to a non econ Fed, attack other countries, or assist others in fighting. There would be no limits on defense and a strong air defense if nothing else would be encouraged. I for one would be willing to smack down anyone who attacked a declared econ only player.

You Cocksuckers are closing my Stratigic Corps one buy one.. these were Corps that were Old by Game standards over 3-4 monthes old fully upgraded and they NEVER had been in so much financail trouble that they were in danger of closing. Most i checked on daily and you ASSHOLES still managed to close them .. the ones in my countries i checked on every 2 days. and you don't have the GODDAMN desensey to respond to a Fucking E-Mail saying you have a GodDamn Problem.. so FUCK you and this Game Close the GodDamn account if you want i don't fucking care. Real Estate in NJ is sickly high, despite the economic downturn. Florida (SouthWest FL) is a ghost town! Everything is dirt cheap. I see High Profits in my "house flipping" future.
