Ruckess (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, March 26, 2009 - 05:03 am The following is my unemployed workers and the number of each needed for 100% employment. As you can see I have well over any of the workers I need but my unemployment percentage remains the same and I do not have 100% employment. Can someone please explain this to me and tell me how to fix it? Top number is number of unemployed. Bottom number is number needed for 100% employment. C.Rabs (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, March 26, 2009 - 02:16 pm what are your salaries both gov and corp? |
CraftyCockney (Kebir Blue) | Thursday, March 26, 2009 - 02:29 pm Its possible some CEO/s in your country have corp/s hiring set at below 100%. |
Martock (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, March 26, 2009 - 02:44 pm I'm thinking that CraftyCockney is probably correct. Check out the production / hiring levels of the corps in your lands and see who's not at 100 / 100. Ask the CEO about this as there may be a reason for it. |
Ruckess (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, March 26, 2009 - 02:46 pm gov salaries are 605 and corp salaries are 600 although i do not have any state corps. I thought that might be a possibility but most of the ones who are not at 100% are at 30% and I find it hard to believe that a CEO would have their hiring set at 30. |
Daelin (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, March 26, 2009 - 03:06 pm Well, you have 4 corps that are 30% and they are all controlled by the same CEO, so it might be the CEO. |
Jack Frost (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, March 26, 2009 - 03:16 pm They may have automatic hiring/production turned on which will in fact make it so that if a company loses money I believe its two months in a row will lower hiring until it starts making money which will be when it closes... |
Ruckess (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, March 26, 2009 - 08:14 pm So should I message the CEOs and ask them if they know that their corporations are losing money? Is there anything I can do to help them become profitable? |
Pathetic Sheep (White Giant) | Thursday, March 26, 2009 - 11:06 pm You can nationalize them. Send them a message requesting that the problem get fixed. Remind him/her that you are asking that him/her to make a profit. Send a second message requesting that the corporation get moved. If there is no improvement nationalize them. If you nationalize corporations without nagging first you may get accused of hostile bidding. You may get accused of that anyway. |
