Thursday, February 19, 2009 - 05:37 am My slaves are all losing money. One slave is showing a budget surplus of 100B+ per month. It is up to 6T in debt and -1T in cash, up from only 3T in debt a day or so ago. I'm looking at the finance statement, and so far this game year that country has spent 4.1T on defensive ammo and weapons, despite the fact that I have not instructed it to order any. Another slave shows up a monthly surplus of about 150B. It now has -500B in cash and 1.2T in debt, down from a few trillion in cash and no debt like 2 days ago. It has spent 5T so far this game year on defensive weapons and ammo. Again, I placed no orders for weapons nor ammo. I'm looking at my defensive ammo stockpiles for each country and it has not really changed. I'm looking at my military assets that's shown when I inspect my country's nominal value. I only have $5.5T in military assets, the same damn amount I had before I started losing cash through my nose. What's going on here? Why am I losing massive amounts of money on ammo purchases when I don't seem to be receiving any of it? And what the hell should I do about it I'm getting ready to either sell off my army and go into 24/7 war protection or just sell my countries/enterprises and cash out.

Thursday, February 19, 2009 - 05:54 am been buying huge amounts of cash myself lately got similiar issues with cash going out faster than it should i would reccomend selling off like half your weapons and see what that does i have been deactivating mine.

Thursday, February 19, 2009 - 05:55 am email the GM. There has been a glitch and they are/have fixed it. If you email them with your complaint, they will fix your problem with an added bonus.

Thursday, February 19, 2009 - 05:58 am @shaun there was an issue with the cash market during an update yesterday, which affected pop and money values in everyones countries. Bug has been fixed and GM is reimbursing those who had problems. Email them with your problem if its not fixed yet.

Thursday, February 19, 2009 - 06:06 am Keto, from what I gather - the issue only related to countries that had traded on the cash market for cash and/or pop. The game kept taking/adding the pop/cash and thats the reason for all the moaning last night! As far as i'm aware, the bug is now fixed and shouldnt be causing further issues. Lolosarus, check your order strategies under the trade tab - you may have set them and forgot about them. Either that, or check your country contracts. A third possible reason could be that training your forces is using the ammo, but I have yet to see a noticble difference in my war slaves for this but then again, I don't check the finances in them very often these days. It makes me sad when I do. Shaun, why reccomend to someone that they sell their weapons, when by your own admittance you are just deactivating yours?????

Thursday, February 19, 2009 - 07:28 am All of my order strategies are at the default setting and my country doesn't have any contracts. One POSSIBLE thing I just thought of, is that when I set up my defensive garrisons a while ago I didn't have enough ammo to cover all of them. Maybe the ammo is being automatically bought and moved to my garrisons immediately which triggers another buy order and so on until the garrisons are full. However, if that were the case I do not understand why this took so long to show up as I deployed those garrisons over a full RL month ago and I never saw such a massive loss of cash like this before. ALSO, I have a question: is ammo stored in defensive garrisons counted under the "military assets" figure in my country's nominal value?

Thursday, February 19, 2009 - 09:51 am weapons and ammo in garrisons is not counted toward military assets only those assets stored in bases as not in use by units or garrisons. stu i reccomended he sell cuz he aint in my position, which is going to need even more defensive weapons to get my DI up for lv 6 and 7 and his selling could help supply me potentially. but he has a good deal of weapons and his problems might be a bit more severe than mine if hes bringing it up on the forum. i also feel that a world wide sell off of veteran players weapons is sort of needed to increase their incomes and keep them from farming active nations for cash ofcourse lol lolo i to think it might be something like that due to us having assigned more ammo then we hold we are being charged for the purchase of more its just either using it all up and we do not notice it, auto assigning it to garrisons and thats why we dont notice it, or for all i know could just be a bug and its charging and not ordering it no real way to tell since the game doesnt allow for the easy tracking of such things by us presidents as basic instruments like a country cash flow sheet, total ammo and weapon stores. not to mention they added in more garrisons deployable for counties. and they are changing the way weapons fees are done from service based to ammo based who knows how thats going. keto i read the game updates i waas freaked out at first to see one of my kb countries go from 35m to 105m back to 36m pop rofl but i dont trade much on the cash market and my cash problems wouldnt be worth mentioning if i felt it hadnt been a more than 2+ time thing

Saturday, February 21, 2009 - 01:52 am @Lolosaurus I to Am having the Money problem to in Tinytoons, i spent over 6T in two days .so i wrote the GM about this issue and this is what i'm told. NOTE i have not has an increase in the Weapons or Ammo amounts nor do i have any LARGE garrisons . and the Spending space is only 1.05T at a time so i think the GM is not admitting theres a problem . and it's only affecting one country ATM the Emails long but you will see what We are Talking about Hi, You are always spending a lot on the military. You can see the cost in your monthly budget as cost of defense The army is using ammunition for training, in peace and in war time. This is unchanged for years. There is in fact no increase of cost for the army for a very long time. The cost fluctuates with the market price of services and ammunition the army is using. Recently we are trying to reduce the cost of the army per weapons. If you buy many weapons, the cost will explode. The number you see on that screen is what was spent to purchase loads of ammunitions that will be used in the coming game months but Purchases are done once in a while when ammunition runs low. I think that t he problem is that you have probably a very large army and your country cannot sustain the cost. The 1.5T limit is in fact too high. This is a huge amount of money to spend on weapons at one time. I hope you check your corporations too and make sure they generate a lot of income, to pay for these weapons and ammunitions. I checked your assets, cash etc. no jumps or deviations. I gave you 1T anyway. Cheers.
