Ruckess (Little Upsilon) | Monday, February 16, 2009 - 05:54 am I just built a few hundred schools, high schools, and universities about 6 game months ago... now i notice that i randomly lost most of those last game month with no explanation of why. Can anybody explain this to me? |
FarmerBob (Little Upsilon) | Monday, February 16, 2009 - 06:03 am You likely did not have the workers to support them. Shortages of Educational or medical professionals will result in closure of facilities. When the build screen says you have sufficient workers for so many facilities, it is not kidding. |
Grayson301 (Little Upsilon) | Monday, February 16, 2009 - 06:03 am Worker Shortages most likely. Especially if Corporations were built before the schools were built |
Ruckess (Little Upsilon) | Monday, February 16, 2009 - 06:09 am i dont have any worker shortages though...plenty of teachers and university teachers...and enough other workers to...and it was like a few closed...hundreds closed |
Grayson301 (Little Upsilon) | Monday, February 16, 2009 - 06:11 am what about the budget? do you Auto budget or use yer own? |
FarmerBob (Little Upsilon) | Monday, February 16, 2009 - 06:34 am Hundreds of universities? You should not have more a couple hundred for a 100 mil pop country. |
Orbiter (Fearless Blue) | Monday, February 16, 2009 - 06:52 am its 2k uni teachers for a uni, "plenty" of workers might be a perspective... if you corp salaries are much higher than you gov sals, then many of your teachers will leave the education field for more "fruitful," professions some times if you buy allot of pop, you will get a "pop bubble," that will result in allot of workers retiring at one time. what else, i'm sure their are more reasons for this to happen, but most likely, you transposed a number and typed in 500 instead of 200 for schools... i'd also like to leave you with... your individual education indexes should be roughly the same, if you have 120 index for hs, and 180 for schools, and unis, then you overall index will probably be about 119... it doesn't average out |
Ruckess (Little Upsilon) | Monday, February 16, 2009 - 07:51 am auto budget, i didnt mean hundreds of universities..hundreds total between the three, gov salaries are 5% over corp salaries, pretty sure i did not transpose any number because it never indicated that that i had a shortage of workers and im pretty sure it wasnt retirement because i had 200,000 teachers after this transpired, all indexes are currently equal..around 285 now since the loss...any other ideas? |
Beast (Little Upsilon) | Monday, February 16, 2009 - 08:11 am max index is 300 |
Andrews Munoz (Little Upsilon) | Monday, February 16, 2009 - 08:17 am is the budget alway in auto mode, no matter if you got that option or not in the setting menu? the other day i read that budget dont have any influence the game, that the game manage that depent on your financial situationn. is that truth or not? |
quaxocal (Golden Rainbow) | Monday, February 16, 2009 - 08:45 am Ruckess, is your finance index by chance below 150? If so, then schools/universities WILL be destroyed until either your education index is below 250, or your finance index is above 150. Andrews, IGNORE the budget, it has no effect on anything. |
Ruckess (Little Upsilon) | Monday, February 16, 2009 - 06:49 pm finance is 180..but is the max index really 300?..because the schools that closed did put me right at or slightly above 300..this could explain the problem but why did so many close and not just enough to put me below the 300 cap? |
shaun (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, February 17, 2009 - 12:14 am give out the country name im kinda curious to take a look at the graphs of employees to see what happened. |
Ruckess (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, February 17, 2009 - 04:23 am k town |
Ruckess (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, February 17, 2009 - 04:27 am I just noticed that the same thing happened to my transportation during the same time period |
shaun (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, February 17, 2009 - 08:22 am k town after 2 minutes careful analysis i see what happened... u apparently had 2.55M teachers employed, 130k suddenly went unemployed while u had another 60k unemployed already. was definately not due to lack of teachers or other workers from what i see of your employment available. it affected all schools elem, highschool and univ all at the same month. all at the moment u hit 301 edu index. i would aim for 299 at the peak if i were u from now on but 200 to 250 should be plenty my friend. game apparently kicks u back to the 290 index stone age lol transportation index is the same thing keep it under 300 it wont let u go over to prevent tampering with both the scoring for rank and the welfare caps |
Ruckess (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, February 17, 2009 - 02:50 pm yea i guess thats what ill do...wish i had known that before though...that was a lot of money..wasted |
