Unable to preform on the battlefield Crossdale has resorted to hostile bidding on LU.
He has hostile bid 6 of my CEO corps.
What passes as UC tactics on GR is a violation of our LU gentleman's agreement.
Despite our wars and issues that may arise we avoid hostile bidding amongst ourselves and consider those who do so as outcasts. So be it with Crossdale/Dizzy.
I ask for a boycott of Avalon II and any CEO with corporations in his countries to leave. I will be happy to reimburse any such expenses.
I ask any country with his corporations in them to ask he move them or nationalize said corps. |

Hostile bids are pointless. I would appreciate if we could refrain from doing that to one another.
This isnt a question of fairness either. Its more a question of whether we really wont each other "shopping" around in each of our CEO's.
To my knowledge, I dont recall of any incident where an LDI player, dating back to govt fed, ever initiated a hostile bid.
We tend to settle our differences by engaging in wars. |

I am a peaceful trader until provoked. I fight. I don't hostile bid. I have lost one battle in my SC time. On FB to Scottie. Perhaps the greatest multi-world blood feud in SC history.
Boycott? I have 10T units of services in my main. Good luck.
CEO raping? Giving me trillions in extra game cash and more reasons to shoot it back at you is not the best plan of action.
Cease fire? Stop shooting. Stay out of range. Easily done. |

I don't care who you are. Settle your differences with your weapons and ammo stocks. Hostile bidding by veterans is inexcusable.
Find another way Dizzy. This is beneath you and any other veteran and tells those that come after you that it is ok.

hostile bidding as a war tactic is like kicking a tank, all you get is a broken toe.
for your average corp, you'd make a better investment by building a new corp, or investing on the stock market. plus you are giving money to your enemy, that he can build a new corp, and still have some money left over. when you add in debt bombs... you should make sure you're wearing steel toed boots before you kick that tank, you might actually scratch the paint. |

I remember a time ago when I first moved to Lacerta, Kain who was Sams "protege" at the time; hostile bid me to provoke my main out of war protection/secured mode. <===Sams words and YES I have the logs. He said it was economic war in order to precipitate a real war. He condoned it, liked it, would have done it himself but didn't want to ruin his public image. Nevertheless he is the reason Kain did it, as a proxy because I would not remove my main from Lacerta, this was followed by boycotts lead up by Sam, because after I was hostile bid on under Sam's directive i deemed sneak attacking corps as fair game after they st00ped to such levels. There are many archive threads to dig up on the accuracy of this report.
So Sam needs to quit crying about playing fair. He only wants to play fair when he can dominate an opponent, and ONLY then. Just have a look at the GR threads for proof of that. Barney even threatened me a month or so back when we couldn't reach a peace deal, I told him i will fight and never stop. He Replied, " I have exploited this game in so many ways you could never imagine. Reffering to glitches, Like name bugs, hundreds of forts, and Lord knows what else.
They initiated hostile bids, in an "attempt to ruin my economy", I responded by leveling the corps in compton more than 30 in all more than twice with sneak attacks to return the favor.
They got the rules changed, so now I fight with c3s, they still cry foul.
They go to gr and attackout of spite, they get caught cheating again, they still cry foul.
The only way Sam will say you are playing fair is when he and his crew catch you out of wp with fabricated intelligence and excuses and they can gang bang your country with little or no resistance and the upper hand. Then, and ONLY then, will he say " YOU fought YOU lost, now surrender" Only to cry if you want to avenge these losses. Gimme a break.
Sam your rants are tireless. You or LDI proper, have no moral ground left to stand on. Your endless exploitation of game glitches and unfairness in war even on newer players like myself is despicable and is unbecoming of a so called Vet like yourself. I guess if we all cheat and "exploit as well as LDI does we can all be Vets and Warlords like LDI . . . right.

Sam, Have you lost your mind making such a false statement? Seems to me that UC just took 5 countries from you in Golden Rainbow's Lynx Minor just two days ago. Why dont you just go ahead and reply with another lie that they were worthless C3's? If that was the case, why am I still taking 3T cash per game month out of them after ending the war two RL days ago.
What about the countries you lost in the Jihad Campaign? Don't those count as loses.
I count as a loss any and every countries I've lost in war and I admit there have been many during my tenure on GR. |

ok let's clear this up. Maybe you don't agree with hostile bidding, and yes corps can be debt bombed. However you really don't see the big picture here and I am not about to tell you in a public forum of the strategy behind this, but if you do know tactics than im sure eventually you will realize what's going on. It wasn't fair for Dirt to be declared upon for no reason about 7 months ago. It was not fair for Priest to be dictated of his country in LU, and I will be damned if it was fair for Austia to be delcared upon on Christmas day; So as Alexander said yes in war you can either aim military or economically all is fair game and besides that I never play fair, you must always fight to win whether scratching the tank or not. Incase noone has noticed anyways LDI is starting to lose the war on LU all this is is just icing on the cake. You guys fight your wars how you want and I will fight my wars how I want. I've never lost any of my wars yet and don't plan on it. Sam will lose about 20 corps a day till all is gone get my drift? To all the noobs it is not okay to hostile bid and do not do it without parent supervision, however what im doing is for a reason so don't try this at home please and thank you.

i wasn't commenting on the right and wrong of the war, at this point its so mixed up, its like the sc version of the Hatfields and McCoys.
i was only commenting on the tactic of hostile bidding.
for the record, i'm all for hostile bidding, i think people shouldn't view it as an act of war. in fact, when your done with sam, please start bidding on mine...
look at the numbers,
he has 419 private corps, with a value of 388,824b. that is an average value of 927b per corp, for an average bid of 1127b. if you intend to take every one of his corps, then its going to cost you 472t after the fee. giving Sam the equivalent 2045 months of production, or nearly a real years worth of production. or at the 600b exchange rate, 786 gc.
and that doesn't include the debt bomb, if you through that in, your looking at giving him another 200t cash, for 200t of debt, and 0 assets
for Sam, this is a win/win situation
somehow, i just don't see that a very effective tactic.

Dizzy if you came out of WP we could settle this in a proper manner. Like United Confederation I, II, and III. Defended and taken in short order. You fought well but lost.
If you are taking all my CEO corps you will need over 500T in game cash to do so on LU alone. Please sir, can I have some more?
As for losing? Doubtful. Our little C3s are working just fine. Plenty of ammo. Plenty of weapons. Plenty of cash.
When Priest bought that country it was a violation of our agreement and knowing how you are and not knowing Priest he was declared on. Now I know Priest and trust him. I would be happy to share a border with him if that occurred again.
As for the forums. I have let all of you provoke me into useless flame wars. I don't respond to Wendy any longer as she has nothing to say worth reading and only provokes my bad side. I guess being called a wetback has ruined our beautiful friendship. Perhaps I should be more tolerant.
If any of you wish to have a constructive, respectful conversation I am willing to do so. If you wish to come to some arrangement to end the war I am game. If you wish to flame look elsewhere. I would rather just keep beating you down when you lose WP.

I gave you guys hi-fives on the initial round of victories, as you well know, you called me a good sport and gracious. I dealt with it head held high and you offered me a finacial country. You backed out of the deal and I feel cheated so I entered back into the war. Because you took my big countries I have 0 choice in the way I fight you guys. Believe me, I'd rather have a 1/2 dozen 50T countries to thump you with.
So who is the real loser here? I think the LDI took a heavy hit in the public image department as you have lost alot of trust with folks.
