So I was wondering why this seems to be such a recurring shortage that I am constantly immediate-ordering it...now my hospital corps are starting to hurt.
I click on the market situation for Medical Equipment, and get this.
"There are no companies producing Medical Equipment. You may decide to buy one of those companies or to build a new company that produces Medical Equipment."
I do not believe that Medical Equipment is a newly introduced product, lol. And there are NO corps on the whole of LU producing it? This has got to be some sort of really cruel glitch.
Well, I guess I know what my next few CEO corps are gonna be...
Edit: Clicking on the link to buy medical equipment corps does in fact bring up a list...but the glitch with the game displaying "no corps" makes me wonder if there is a glitch in the tabulation of supply. |

I noticed this problem too. I quickly built a corps in each of my countries and contracted it to myself to ease the shortage. I have a few more being built that I will offer to the public...I sure hope this is just a glitch and I hope they fix it soon.
I've seen this problem is both on GR and LU. aybe its on all planets? Guys?

That is a problem that has been around for years. It has no effect on the supply, just on the graph. Production and all things remain the same, so that is not why your orders are on immediate. Its because demand rose. |

A different twist on the same problem (?): I keep getting country messages that the citizens of Nostero on KB are complaining of medical material shortages, even though I've got an 8 month's supply in my country stock.
And my two medical equipment corps each have several months' supply in their stock.

Alot of adjustments are being made simultaneously. Check out manpower requirements in the differnt corps. Lots of changes. It's causing shortages all across the market. Base prices for certain goods are falling as well, with adjustments in outputs.
I would expect alot more instability before things settle down again. |

I know John R said this glitch had been around for a while, but this was the first time I'd seen the game say there were no corps producing a certain product, except for when new products were introduced to the market.
So it kinda made me jump, as I freaked and thought the game had somehow deleted every medical equipment corp on LU  |

there is no structural reason for that.
The utilization page show an oversupply.
someone could be buying large but the shortage is now declining. |
