Asmodeus (Little Upsilon) | Sunday, December 21, 2008 - 08:03 pm Communism is in the "conservative" ideological spectrum, and, regardless of what has been said, it has never, ever, existed on Earth. Marx envisioned Capitalism's self-regulating engine to eventually hit a snag it will not be able to recover from, these events are built into the free market and actually serve to redistribute capitol from failures to profits. However, there will come a point, where the hiccup will be so large as to cause a collapse of a "lung". Accordingly, Marx says, Communism is a form of government/socio-economic model, will arise from the ashes of Capitalism. It was never designed, or talked about, as by it's very nature (Marx speculates) it's workings will be occult to us. The only thing he did say, is what the "interm" or pre-communist form would look like, since that could be seen, and predicted. Any further than that, he said, and it's pointless speculation. USSR - Union of Socialist Soviet Republics PS: communism and democracy, are said to be the height of governmental organization; problem is, neither has been realized. Communism, as applied, degenerates into despotism (which is actually pretty close to what Communism is - everyone's equal, except Stalin), and democracy... Well democracy is more problematic, if citizenship loses meaning, democracy becomes pretty useless. |
