Joe3811 (Golden Rainbow) | Tuesday, January 12, 2010 - 10:03 pm Ok, Laguna--I'll show I still a noob. Is 25 GBP british pounds , or something else. I'm assuming that if you meant $, you'd have said so. Glad to see your enterprises and empires are doing so well! |
Laguna | Wednesday, January 13, 2010 - 12:11 am Yes. GBP is the currency code for the british pound. The forum doesn't like the pound's sign, nor the euro's: £ and €. And stating it is GBP removes all similar currency sign ambiguity. My empires and enterprises are being powered forward with old age. I have some countries for sale, but I forgot to post that. I'll do that tomorrow. |
Laguna | Saturday, January 30, 2010 - 07:55 pm Buy me some GCs, or a kitten will suffer! |
maclean (Kebir Blue) | Thursday, February 4, 2010 - 08:05 am @Laguna: I should know this, but what is the current exchange rate GBP/US$ ? I might be interested. "Sell me some cheap GCs or TWO kittens will suffer!" Lol |
Laguna | Friday, February 5, 2010 - 10:57 am LOL! The suffering of kittens does not affect my judgment. Per xe.com, 1GBP = 1.57003 USD. But here's a neat trick, if you type a currency code on google, it will automatically state the exchange rate against the USD. So, we have 1 GBP = 1.5719 U.S. dollars. It's not 100% accurate, but the rates are very close. In practice, this means that if you have buy my coins, you get a 21.5% discount. Buy me some GCs, or I will huff *your* kittens. |
