josias jorvick (White Giant) | Monday, July 28, 2008 - 08:47 am Other players are bidding on this corporation. The auction ends Apr 15 2560. Currently, the highest bid is 1.42T SC$ and it has been placed by Federal Territory I. To keep this corporation you can chat with Federal Territory I and convince the president to retract the bid. or you can work hard and increase the market value of the corporation to at least 1.42T SC$. If the market value of the corporation exceeds the highest bid, the corporation remains yours. when its said and done, this guy is going to be out 2t. thats why i usually don't mind hostile bidding this one bothered me, mostly because, well real life issues almost stopped me from being able to bomb him at this point i consider the matter closed, and no further action should be taken against this player, reguarding this hostile bid |
Man of Peace (White Giant) | Monday, July 28, 2008 - 03:48 pm Hey J. I just checked him out and he has no neighbors so if he doesn't stop let me know. I have no issues at present and will be more than happy to wipe his slave off the map for you. Just say the word. |
Webspinner (White Giant) | Wednesday, July 30, 2008 - 09:37 am hmmm. are you talking about someone bidding on one of your strat corps? just buy all the nukes out and sell out the plutonium and let em have it :D |
Webspinner (White Giant) | Wednesday, July 30, 2008 - 09:37 am uh....I mean the nukes can be hand delivered to the hostile bidder..... |
sfo Treasurer (White Giant) | Wednesday, July 30, 2008 - 05:16 pm You cannot direct sale while a bid is placed on your corp. At least you weren't used to be able to do that. If that's changed let me know. |
josias jorvick (White Giant) | Thursday, July 31, 2008 - 02:33 am last time i tried, when some one nationalizes a ceo corp, you can just move it this was an fmu corp, it was making a little over 1b a tick, 3-4b a day, he bought it for 1.4t, even if i hadn't debt bomed it, it would have taken how long to pay itself back? about a year... so he gave me 1 real year production... in "most" cases of hostile bidding i've seen, i'm getting more in the area of 3-6 months production from the sale. and if i bomb them, its even better honestly, new players who don't know the ropes, are shooting themselves in the foot by bidding. they don't know a "bargan," when they see one. they go "ooo look a 1t corp, its gotta be good, lets buy it..." and then they WASTE 1t getting a corp that they would have been better off building, and trying figure out how to manage that corp... so in most cases, i don't care. with the money i get from the sale, i can preplace the corp, build it to full production, AND still have a little left over. if i want to bomb the guy, because he is steeling, then i make off even better... |
