I have decided to step down as president of SFO. I am resuming my role as 2nd in command. Veritas is now the acting president.
This decision is a result of my time constraints. I will be returning to work soon and will not have the time that the fed needs from it's leader. Veritas has plenty of experience and I have all the confidence in his decisions. He co-founded SFO so please give him the respect that you have all given me.
I also feel that Veritas makes a better leader than I do. He knows his way around the politics and the everyday running of the fed. You are all gaining a better president and leader and I wish to thank Dave for his commitment and passion. I am thankful for my time as leader and I have learned quite a bit. I thank you all for your understanding and well wishes for our new leader.

Thank you for the kind words, Dan. Your sacrifices for SFO cannot be understated, and your value to all of SC is truly justified.
As Dan has stated, this is a mutually determined outcome we have come to. There will be very little shift in external relations - I shall uphold the integrity of the agreements he has made during his tenure. Internally, we have discussed an impressive list of reforms that will do well not only to improve the administration of this Federation, but also seek out the advancement of new players. The purpose of federations is not merely mutual defense - or at least, it shouldn't be if a federation is to be considered worthwhile upon the global stage. The wide range of knowledge that has been gained by SFO's many experienced members can go far to help shape the culture of White Giant towards one of peace.
SFO will soon become an exciting place for growth - not only in the number of members, but the personal growth of its members. The knowledge base of the veterans of SFO is vast, and we have members who wish to mentor new players - so long as these new players truly wish to learn to love this game as much as we do. I myself have two years of continuous experience in this game, and I have playing this game off and on since 2001. I would have quit long ago had this game not captured my own interest so heavily.
To other White Giant world leaders: I will be contacting many of you shortly. I may miss a few of you, and it is unintentional if you find yourself left out. I apologize in advance, as I have been away on a personal sabbatical for the past two months and I have not kept tract of the newer powers. However, please do not hesitate to contact me yourselves. I welcome any and all proposals.
