My new Dominion, 'Dominion of Africa' was recently sneak attacked. Recently, as in within the last day.
There has been some tension between me and David lately. Mostly, regarding the states I have around him. Dominion of Westbrook, Dominion of Birmingham and Dominion of Africa. The latter, being the most recent. He gave me an ultimatum to remove them, probably, since he was still sore about us asking the same when he expanded around several members following his striking from the WGA roster.
To show that my new countries were not intended to be used against David, I left them without active defenses, minimal amounts of defensive equipment sitting and two of them without fortifications. Because Lee wasn't WL3 and apparently couldn't get there, there wasn't a pressing need. Despite my exit from WGA, I still remain pledged, as do others, to protect WGA members and ANYONE WL3 from unjust conflict. As I pledged to do in WGA, under our Operation: Over-watch in an attempt to allow newer players to feel safe moving to WL3.
Since my exit from WGA, David has been moving more and more weapons around his Empire, spending mass amounts of money and even bragging about it on his self-congratulatory forum thread. I then see Lee place TWO states directly bordering mine. This coming off of him outright telling me that the UDL were involved in his negotiations with the WGA, in our meeting room, despite his outright threats against members of our Federation.
To be clear I did not sneak attack David. I've told him from Day 1 that if I wanted to, I'd fight him. I didn't attack him when he was WL3 but smaller, I didn't attack him when he was flinging threats while negotiating and I didn't attack when the strategic situation would've been a K.O massively in our favor. I'm not going to attack after months of a massive and public buildup while I'm less active.
I've also yet to follow through on a promise, or threat I've made on this forum for the almost year I've been active. I make my threats on the forums. Some make them in private conversations:
I have no evidence that David carried out that sneak attack, but it's VERY coincidental considering the above, his closeness to Lee and my exit from a Federation that would've given me more protection in this very event. It is very sad, to see that despite the UDL being so young it's already caused tension on a scale WG hasn't seen in years.
Batavia remains vigilant against all threats. If they want to come at me, come at me with a formal declaration. Warmongers will not survive long here. If he's trying to bait me into an attack, or suppose that I did attack his states, he's even more wrong than usual. Not sure what is being played at, but I'm not going to bite to play into your narrative.
Batavian colonists have died today. We shall find out why. |

Sorry to hear someone carried out a cowardly attack against your country and territories. Sneak attack's are cowardly no doubts about that. I know our federations are at odds right now, but I can be sure that UDL members are not responsible for this. As a new player who loves to engage other's Im sure we can put our differences aside and find out who is doing these attacks together and hold them accountable. Someone sees that the two federations are at odds and trying to start a world war, cause that what it would be. We can not fall into their trap. |

I am not the one having difficultly justifying claims. I said I did not have evidence to say who did it. The state was unarmed. But the notion that I staged this is hilarious. So you could have as well then, yeah?
How about you justify THAT claim? How do you figure that happened? Any proof whatsoever? You speak of justifying. Justify your claim. I also challenge you to bring up some of my lies that I apparently have no justification for. You are always very sparing on the details of anything you claim and I am more than sure I can provide warrants for mine.

All this and YOUR upset that my Dominion close to you, has the word Africa in it? Even if I did intend to mock you, so what? You told me to remove them and I did not take kindly to it. Of course I mocked you.
Above are the claims I have made against you. I have voiced my opinions of your motives based upon your actions. There is a difference.
Why would you not directly declare if you did do it? Perhaps because your the obvious choice as you threatened these states not even a month ago and your hoping I lash out since I have so blatantly told you I would confront any aggression giving you a reason to remove them without looking aggressive. It is not at all a wild theory to assume you attacked me. Who else? Lee?
You trying to construe me as something I am not has been going on since you got kicked from the WGA. I am challenging you to actually back up your claims of me being a liar, what I am lying about and to back up your claim that I somehow attacked myself or what exactly I did.
I eagerly await your response that will most assuredly answer the concerns that get brought up and not some rambling statement that just throws out accusations without really replying. |

Gentlemen: Sorry for give my opinion. First I have to apologize with David when he denounced this kind of attacks in one of his countries, I don't believe that denounce the first time, sorry for that.
But reading this post I just realized that this is a real threat.
My opinion is this: What is happened is called in Forensic Sciences a pattern. Both of you suffered from sneak attacks and it's possible that other players have sneak attacks.
I suggest first: Think in who or whom have benefits to put players fighting each other.
Second: Who have the possibility to launch this kind of attacks.
Third: The attacker or attackers knows that both of you are not in the best moment of your relation as players.
Finally, If you want to catch a criminal, you have to learn to think as criminal. Any Criminologist can tell you.
If both of you want to discover the person or persons whom did this, put to he/she/them not only a trap, put a lot of traps and you will discover the attacker.

Just noticed. In the sneak attack to David country and now to Matthew country, the attacker or attackers choose this countries because have low population compared with the rest of the empire as the case of David, and choosed a relatively new country in the case of Matthew.
The aggressor or aggressors are testing your countries defenses, capabilities and responses to the attacks. This is another pattern.

Lee is relevant because he was a known hostile player, and you ACTIVELY aided him, ACTIVELY helped him expand and ACTIVELY avoided acknowledgement of this because of the WGA's stance on him. You ignore his threats and condemned us for making moves that defended against him. You also deem this as "Unimportant" while you type paragraphs on a thread you made for yourself. But you don't have time to directly clarify your accusations on the international stage in the midst of a crisis? And as the Chairman of the UDL you are concerned with global stability? Throwing out accusations and insults endlessly, while directly a ignoring screenshot (proving a threat you made behind closed doors) and are simply lying about your past actions. Saying its all hearsay when a lot of it occurred openly, on the forum is just silly.
You have made threats against these countries, grown closer with the largest enemy I have on the game, your Fed then tries to get involved with WGA negotiations with this person despite his threats to destroy us. And you blatantly deny things even when your own words stare you directly in the face.

I'll ask you some more questions, why the massive military buildup? Negative income in some countries, due to it. Seems like you were waiting for something to happen.

This is yet another despicable act I'm compelled to comment on. Obviously when we discover who did this, I'll be at war.
And the main suspect of the attacks is congratulating himself on having 'people look upto' him while trying to squash the conversation where it's revealed he wanted to attack my fedmate.

Resultingly, applications for military service within our empire have flooded in, as our populace seeks to counter the mass military mobilizations in neighboring, foreign lands. David's African Union territories now sit at war ranks 1, 2, 3, and 4, and their leadership is clearly posturing with hostility on this thread. Extreme zealotry is sweeping through our citizenry, and demonstrations of faith are being equated to being patriotic. The clergy at temples and pagodas on Lacerta in particular have recorded an overwhelming number of donations and sacrifices made to the Old Gods as the devout seek divine intervention and guidance.
This is a time of trials for our empire. Time will tell if our faith and our steel will be enough to achieve victory. |

I'm really sorry for these attacks and I also condemn them.
@ EO you are right, the perpetrator or perpetrators read this post and have a satisfaction that borders on the erotic. Their minds are this way, the satisfaction of these people is based on getting their way without consequences. Their brains are very different from most of us and this has to do with the amygdala and the prefrontal cortex.
Like the murderer who visits the scene of the crime when it is being processed or the arsonist who watches with delight the building that burned. It is for this reason that forensic teams take photos of onlookers at the scene, because the offender could emerge there. Photos are even taken at the victim's funeral, because many criminals love to see the results of their evil.
I was wrong, those responsibles will stop the attacks for a while, hoping that David and Matthew start to forget and when this happens, they will attack the countries of these two players, or the countries of players that have not yet been attacked.
The perpetrators are not alone, they are backed by the masterminds who possibly have a lot of financial and military resources in the game.
I think one way to corner the attackers is for both David and Matthew not to go to war. This way the attackers will not get the sickly gratification they so badly need and will become aggressive and that will be a sign.
In Spanish we have a saying that says: "Para bailar tango se necesitan dos" which means: "To dance tango you need two", and it applies in this case. As long as Matthew and David remain cool-headed in this unfortunate situation, the attackers will slowly lose their fuel until they attack again.

The fact that you think I'm "oppressing" new players is amusing to me, as I actually am one of the few relatively veteran players who reaches out to help new players, answers questions, and who has built guides to help improve gameplay for new players. You yourself have experienced this first hand, both when you used training materials in WGA and when you've asked questions to the general playerbase! Perhaps you could try to do the same sometime. For all of your bluster David, you have done nothing to de-escalate this situation and are only making it worse. Your insane military buildup (including in the two states you bought to attack us with), expansion, open threats, and incendiary rhetoric have demonstrated you're looking for conflict, are extremely difficult to deal with, and not actually interested in achieving peace. The actions you take in game do not come close to matching how you try to paint yourself on the forum. How's the saying go? "Actions speak louder than words?"
Lastly, I'd advise you not to reference anyone else's Gods. You've done enough to inflame tensions already. |

Keeping it simple..
@EO Suddenly leaves his former Federation and sets up his syndicate federation, Suddenly we see EO place a state $Samarkand" which directly boarders my Country "Nigerian Nation" we humbly requested the Said state to be removed.. Eo bluntly refused with reasons that he was free to move wherever he likes on the planet.. and what we could possibly offer him.. (First threat by AU)
Afterwards AU then adds a territory in a Region having EO States.. then EO calls on the state to be Removed while maintaining a strategic state he purposely placed on our boarder.. (second threat by AU)
Those AU states are futher attacked via Sneak attacks.. Evidence of such attacks were also posted.. EO publicly claimed those attacks were false and lies(Another provocation by AU I guess)
EOs Ally's state Batavia was attacked Same EO claimed that AU attacked Batavia.. despite AU openly Denouncing such attacks.. (AU Sins against EO)
AU Strengthen security of its Nations after the disastrous attacks on its soil.. Eo claims such defensive measures is nothing but a plan to attack his territory . despite having large amounts of weaponry in states boarding mine he recently added . (AU sins against EO)
AU issues a warning to the perpetrators of the attack in its soil.. EO calls it and open threat.. while Supposing to let his popcorn out..

They have virtually no population, no economy, terrible indices (especially considering you're an excellent game level player known for high indices), and MASSIVE militaries. Your NEW countries have more military than my core empire, let alone Matthew's. Your NEW countries only exist to fight us.
