Skandar | Saturday, November 11, 2017 - 12:42 pm Has anyone else noticed the problems with the Electric Power market on WG? Demand seems to keep climbing up, then suddenly halves. It's been doing this for a few weeks now. Currently, the price for Electric Power is lower than that for Nuclear Power, which has inverted the previous bonus for generating Nuclear Power. |
johnV | Saturday, November 11, 2017 - 01:33 pm I noticed that happening with a few products but not as drastic. Does the GM put the stock from abandon countries on the market? A large country near me was just turned into a C3. |
Sheepman Rain | Saturday, November 11, 2017 - 02:39 pm Not always sure on market situations but yes if a country has supplies and is turned over to C3 the supplies dumps onto the market, creating a surplus. Though not always the case, sometimes is GM intervention. |
Skandar | Sunday, November 12, 2017 - 09:26 am December 3879, supply spiked by 1 billion units. That's way too much to be from even a few countries being abandoned. If I had a 10 country empire which were all as populous as my main with a similar stockpile in each, that would only dump 5,000,000 onto the market. |
Jauterson001 | Sunday, November 12, 2017 - 06:38 pm I've seen single players dump a considerable amount of product on the market at once. |
Khome | Sunday, November 12, 2017 - 07:51 pm It happens now and then. Not abnormal. I don't think the GM intervenes in this case unless their is a pending global economic crisis. |
Jauterson001 | Monday, November 13, 2017 - 01:53 pm Here is a graph for rice supply on FB. It may not be quite on the scale of the electric power dump your talking about but it is an example. I had a bunch of rice that I had been sitting on... Don't ask why lol just had rice.. but you can see the large jumps in supply when I made three dumps on the market. I am sure other larger players out there could make a much larger impact than this. Only a very small example. https://sim02.simcountry.com/cgi-bin/cgi2nova?SN_ADDRESS=wwwCountry&SN_METHOD=w3graph&miTable=tldhist&miKey=134&miColumn=vTradeSupplyVolume |
Nicholas II | Thursday, November 16, 2017 - 10:45 am Well I think we're heading towards an economic crisis. Seen some enterprises enter into huge debts and those are still in the TOP 50s. |
johnV | Thursday, November 23, 2017 - 02:58 pm Could the disappearance of over 120 gamemaster corps in the last 10 game years have anything to do with it? It's frustrating having to adjust your production every other day. |
Bhai Jaan | Sunday, October 28, 2018 - 07:43 am There Will Be Economic Crises Untill We have Enough Corporations To provide Materials. Strong Economy Means Less Price and more quantity. |
Andy | Monday, October 29, 2018 - 10:06 am I am not sure what you mean. the market seems to regulate itself quite good. if you see a problem anywhere, please let us know here and I will look into it. |
