Beginning last month, after negotiations failed to resolve matters that were related to Pancakes' actions (and personal remarks made by himself/fed), military operations have begun in an effort to eliminate Pancakes ability to produce nuclear weapons and reduce his capability to fund an offensive force. Actions will continue until it is deemed that the goals of the operation are met.
Furthermore, any retaliation for the action against Pancakes will be met with swift, and double action. I hope all those involved rethink their positions and avoid letting themselves end up on the wrong side of history on White Giant.
Questions about the on-going operation will only be answered if questioned by the White Giant Security Council. Civilians effected by the operations are being assisted by the country of Hashbrowns, which has an fleet stationed nearby and ready to move in when it is deemed safe. Some of our Special Forces units have conducted several rescue operations of higher ranking defectors of the Pancakes regime and some civilians when the situation allows.

Actions against Pancakes continues as of this time. Some members of the enemy's federation have stated that they are sending support to Pancakes to help restore his ability to finance an army. Members that are found to aid Pancakes financial ability are subject to sanctions and operations to reduce their ability to aid in much an manner.
Member countries of the enemy federation are hereby put on notice that actions that are conducted to aid in the operations to subdue Pancakes may negatively effect their own country and/or CEO. I urge member-states of these feds to consider their status among the fed and explore options to bring about a peaceful end to the current operation. |

Operations have been halted to access the viability of the mission. It seems like Pancakes took enough punishment for his actions. Thanks to all who participated in the operation and voiced their opinion, through actions, that there are still presidents amongst us that value the views that many have seemed to forget.
This war should have taught everyone on all sides a few new things. I hope that all presidents involved take time to reflect on the past week. I know now that no matter what, times on White Giant have changed a bit. But it will not stop our nation from living by the values of the past, while trying to be a little more respectful of the new players that are trying to forge a new future. It is very good that hopefully activity will rise a bit from all of this and a few new players, that would have otherwise lost interest in this game, will stick around a bit longer.
No matter what your view please be mindful that you still should treat all others with respect. I applaud all those involved who stuck too that standard. I have nothing to say to those who didn't but just remember that 99% of the reason crap like this happens is because of your words.. not your actions. Again, thank you to those who respected others throughout this matter.
And finally, I will be fairly active throughout the next few months. Any new players that would like a hand, needs questions answered, ect feel free to contact me or visit chat, used to be pretty active there but I am usually there or someone there that can answer your question. Try to muster support for your operation, you will need it. I don't think you will find many that would be able to stomach the idea of aiding you in attacking an player that supposably can summon PH to retaliate? It is rather amusing that you were blown back to the stone age, went silent for three weeks, only to come back and start making hostile threats.
So it all comes back to the same reason I proposed the sanctions on you in the first place. You are hostile, rouge, inexperienced, and don't know when to keep your mouth shut. All of that wrapped together = pancakes, the pure example of the type of president that needs to be removed from power. There is not one reason that someone should NOT remove you from power on White Giant. You don't help new presidents, you declare war on anyone, you hurt your federation-mates with your actions.
I urge anyone with an opinion to take their side now. We already know where the WDU stands. If Pancakes launches an attack anyone involved with it will be dealt with accordingly. If you like to only have state corps in your country and never go above war level 2 then help away because I can't do a thing to you.
But if you have a single private corp in your country.. it will be gone. If you are WL3 or higher, you will be attacked for assisting Pancakes. I already got a couple angry CEO's from the last time around wondering why their corps were getting bought out. I don't mind doing what I must and upsetting more.
Please keep in mind that any CEO that is affected and has nothing to do with pancakes other than having an corporation in an country affilated with him will be offered equal compensation for any corp that may be bought and moved.
Like I said before, if you have an opinion or are going to participate then you better take your side now, because when an war declaration is made there will be no more time for diplomacy in this forum. |
