Captain Dog (White Giant) | Monday, February 20, 2012 - 05:19 pm Is there any way for me to prevent people from buying my state corps out from under me? MAGNUM decided to start bidding on my corps... |
Gothamloki (Little Upsilon) | Monday, February 20, 2012 - 05:59 pm He's a brand new CEO. I just alerted him that bidding before asking isn't best practice. Otherwise you have two options. Under your main "Settings" you can 'block ceos' or something like that. That will prevent any bids, but will also prevent any ceos from building in your country. The other option is to "nationalize" the state-corp you don't want anyone bidding on. This protects it, but leaves the country open to new investment. Only problem, you can only nationalize up to 25 state corps.... so nationalize your most cherished corps, at least until their value is above 1T. If someone bids on one of your state-corps and is willing to pay you more than a trillion for it... let them! |
Gothamloki (Little Upsilon) | Monday, February 20, 2012 - 06:01 pm Oh, the option to nationalize a corp is on the individual corporation page. (Just click corp name, link to nationalize should be at top. You can change its status back to a regular state-corp in the same place.) |
Captain Dog (White Giant) | Monday, February 20, 2012 - 06:18 pm Thank you Gothamloki. Unfortunately, I cannot nationalize the corp while he is bidding on it. I am also a new player, and I have seen this guy's posts on the forums. He is clearly aware of the forums and should know that this is not a friendly course of action. |
