A Great Potato famine has befallen WG! White Giant scrambles to secure it's fast food networks as French fries are taken off all menus causing great panic and unrest in even the biggest of empires. Homefries and hashbrowns are also removed as patrons must adjust to grits, grits and more grits. Farmers are baffled at the loss of almost all potato crops across the planet and scramble to secure what's left of supply.
Entire armies are recalled from foreign wars to protect the remaining potato crops as the ground growing crop is becoming as valuable as gold. "We've never seen the likes of this agricultural holocaust in our generation" says, eco environmentalist Lindsy St.Clair. "Unless something is done quickly, underdeveloped countries may loose half their populations and the dead will pile up in the streets from massive starvation". Although this crises has taken much of the world by surprise, you will notice the that the replacement of french fries at McDonalds has already taken place. Many however, would like something other then pretzels as that replacement.

The loss of French fries would not be what would worry me.. I just don't think I could go long without mashed potatoes haha. |

in my country fries have never been introduced into the diet of the country, also no fried potato chips are in the diet. we do have baked potato chips on the menu. (a well managed diet help keeps medical costs down but taste buds to need satisfying to keep productivity high) (im in Character) |
