Jo Salkilld (White Giant) | Sunday, August 16, 2009 - 03:43 am You cannot defend your country with nuclear weapons. You can only attack other player countries with them. Either you want them to attack others or you don't need them. Hugs and respect Jo |
Mr31 (White Giant) | Sunday, August 16, 2009 - 11:22 am wrong , if you have a strong nuk defensive system nobody will take the risk to attack you. I have 70 millions of pop and 155 corp. i want to defend my self. Stop. I repeat i have a lot of money to spend this is the real important thing............ |
Jo Salkilld (White Giant) | Sunday, August 16, 2009 - 06:42 pm Mr.31 You have been nuking inactives on White Giant ... you are hardly at risk of attack from them! All this achieves is to destroy the population which, if you are going to take and keep, or take and strip the country does you no favours either way. If you have no intention of taking the country, why bother to nuke at all? As for nukes being a deterrent ... pressing for nukes on the game forum and messaging players directly to ask them to sell you nukes or plutonium, is the quickest way to get unwanted attention. Far from decreasing the risk that you will be attacked, it increases it considerably. You also need to understand the difference between a nuke defence system (nuclear defense batteries ... no plutonium needed) and a nuclear Offense system (plenty of plutonium needed!). If it is nuclear defense batteries and missiles you need, to PROTECT yourself, then you can buy them on the open market. No need to beg on the forum for people to sell them to you. Having nuclear weapons is NOT a deterrent. Any player deciding to attack you will have plenty of nuke defenses, and sees no threat at all in you having offensive nukes. Nukes have never won wars on their own. I suggest you learn the game a bit better and learn to play responsibly. Jo |
Brutus Buckeye | Sunday, August 16, 2009 - 11:06 pm Well said Jo. Hopefully hes intelligent enough to understand it. LOL Brutus |
Aaron Doolavay (White Giant) | Monday, August 17, 2009 - 06:17 pm Mr31, if I may make a suggestion here, don't bother defending your secured country. It doesn't need it. Second, instead of spending money buying nukes or nuke defense why not spend a little time getting your countries to profit a little more significantly and buying some more conventional defensive and offensive weapons. We're not saying you can't play how you like, but it seems Jo has noticed you're flinging nukes around at inactives. Be careful you don't cause fallout in someones countries who is active as this will likely cause you war with them and at that point nukes or nuke defense you bought instead of conventional defense will mean nothing in slowing down an attacker. |
