Jo Salkilld (White Giant) | Friday, August 29, 2008 - 02:44 pm Have the GMs been tweaking again? I got to my empire today to find out that most of my state and private corps have too many unsold products, they are nearly all making massive losses and all my countries have gone from 120B profit a month to a sudden loss of 30 - 60B per month. My FIs have plummeted by half a point overnight ... Previously the countries and corps were all well-balanced, both economically and in terms of workers and employment. I have emailed the GMs to alert them. Is anyone else having the same problem? Hugs and respect Jo |
Xavi Tango (White Giant) | Friday, August 29, 2008 - 04:52 pm yes, Jo. I think it's general. In my case the problem is not the unsold product. Products have been sold , but they did not gave the right amuont of income. I checked some corps and it's the same for other players. You can see it in the graph of "Products Sold ($)" in the "Profit & Loss -- Current Month" in each corp. the graphs suddenly went down on March I hope it's a problem with the simulation. The other possibility is a major change that could appear in the news page in the next hours. Regards XT |
josias jorvick (White Giant) | Friday, August 29, 2008 - 05:25 pm check the amount that came in from enterprises... that looks like theirs a problem their, i hope its just a glich. i didnt have time to go over all my corps, but it loked like business as usual, some corps didn't sell their product, some did, those that did payed their usual amount to my country, but is seems as if 60%+ of it didn't actually go to the finance page another thing i've been noticing recently, is every tick my FI says i'm loosing money, like 4ish B a month, and the ticker tape at the top says i'm loosing monthly income, but each month my bottom line spending cash actually goes up, by allot... |
Jo Salkilld (White Giant) | Friday, August 29, 2008 - 06:47 pm It looks as though what has happened is that the corps were late in doing their sales transactions, or the stats were early in updating. Either way, this month (March 2568) the corps sales transactions didn't go through until after all the stats updated. I'm hoping this was a glitch, rather than the GMs changing the dates of when things happen. Otherwise we will always be a months worth of profits down Hugs and respect Jo |
John R | Friday, August 29, 2008 - 07:24 pm Its punctual. Its rare, but it has happened before. Nothing to worry about. The game has several self-correcting mechanisms. |
sfo Treasurer (White Giant) | Sunday, August 31, 2008 - 08:20 am Yes Jo, My ceo and countries took massive losses that month, but a huge gain the next, I think the sales happened late for some reason after the score updates. Weird, but it seems to have evened back out. Dan |
Jo Salkilld (White Giant) | Tuesday, September 2, 2008 - 05:50 pm Laguna ... it's not that rare. It seems to have happened again this month (March 2569). The last one happened in March 2568 ... is it a March thing? Maybe the corps are too busy doing their financial year end to sell any products until it's too late. Now THAT's realism for you. Hugs and respect Jo |
John R | Tuesday, September 2, 2008 - 06:03 pm Okay... It may have just been because of today's update like the other times. |
JoKeRman (White Giant) | Wednesday, September 3, 2008 - 06:30 am I have the same problem. And it happened in March 2568, and March 2569. |
sfo Treasurer (White Giant) | Wednesday, September 3, 2008 - 07:37 pm Oh the ides of March |
