john or davy whatever you prefer to be called, its been about 2 weeks now with nothing but words being exchanged forums being blown up with some of the funniest stupidest things ive ever read which have made me laugh, but i think its time we just put it out there. in front of all of fb me vs you. you drop your war level protection as you obviously will never make it to war level 3 and we fight a fair one. you can use your nukes whatever you want but you say to use military action if you wanna do something so i say we do it. i wont even take your country the first one to drop the war index to 10 points wins. we are both on the same level both new its a fair fight what do you say johnny lets make fb a war world again starting with me vs you |

I find this entire scenario hilarious to be honest, and so please don't misunderstand me as it's really nothing personal against either party involved, but just to make some clarifications on this situation as it potentially affects my Simitzens and thus by extension myself, as John Smith is. . .uhhm conveniently our neighbor . . .
If you want to request John Smith to enter warfare with you, and even that he use nuclear weapons, that is entirely up to you if that is what you want to do.
The meaning of this message here is that I'll point out that if nukes are dropped in the region where my empire resides, regardless of however legitimate the reason may be, I will stop joking around as usual and put on my serious hat, have a cigar in memory of whatever group is responsible, whether it's you or them, and start pushing lots of red buttons.
and whatever anybody may speculate, that's fine although I'm not sure anybody really has any idea how just how many of these red buttons I have available to me, because I'm not even sure how many of these things are around here. All I'll say is that I have quite a few. Some in briefcases, some require a pair of keys, whatever. We have so many damn red buttons over here you have no idea.
I'm not trying to claim that I will have victory. Not at all. I'm just saying many red buttons could possibly become pressed before we are lost to radiation sickness. So if you are so crazy as to request a nuclear conflict than please do not drop retaliatory nukes in our region if you would be so kind, because really we like you we really do but we've also been waiting an awfully long time to test our ever expanding capabilities as we have been carefully polishing the dust off these shiny red buttons.

Thanks EYE for being straight up. I can see how I get criticized as all I do is shovel some BS around here on the side while I build my strength, but really I do not have much of a strategy as I guess I am merely expanding upon and organizing things economically and militarily. I expected a lot more activity here when I entered this world, even though it may not appear so I do not actually aim to be a source of it, although perhaps I throw fuel on other peoples fires. I am polishing my battle plans but for no purpose in particular yet. A lot of my chatter is generally perpetuated from bursts of boredom I occasionally encounter off/on in that "real" world. Like I just said I thought there'd be more going on so I'm just poking my stick around at everybody in general. I suppose I make comments to shake things up around here but not directed towards anybody specifically. I initially had thought the war world was going to be a chaotic scene with a lot more going on until I learned more about how stable things really usually are. So I just write whatever here I guess. I expect eventually there will be some sort of world war event going on so I intend on being ready for that. |

I'm not on FB, but here's a suggestion for everyone who is, how about war levels being kept, but every game month, or day in real time or real time month, SIMCOUNTRY randomly chooses an opponent that your country WILL attack that is the same war level as you/that is not in war protection and is not in the same federation. Ok some real life game friends may end up attacking each other as a result of this suggestion but it would make it more interesting to have countries that may never think about attacking each other actually doing so and winner take all to see who IS THE BEST. |

What is your reasoning on preserving war levels on "Fearless Blue" anyway? This world needs a push away from "Hide in War Level Protection Yellow". Your suggestion wouldn't even dent that. |

Eventually the game will start losing players because of this mechanic and players=money.There once once was a game called Dragon Lords.Awesome game of kingdoms,alliances and wars.Then the powers that be decided to implement a stupid rule,that is curiously very similar to this,about limiting war declarations.Within a year the game that had reigned supreme for over 3years was down.Experienced veterans left.New players came and upon seeing how things were left also.Now it's just this desolate place where wars rarely take place.They also had what was designed as a war world like FB.It was called a hard core realm.HellFire was the name and the fun took place here.The game made the mistake of introducing that mechanic there leading to their current situation.-I'm not saying that things will become that way but they just might.I'm a noob but from what I've read in the forums,some have already left.Perhaps the W3C should learn something from that story because where there is smoke there sure is to be a fire.And although I can't see the smoke yet,I can smell it. |
