With Kingdom's forces at his border waiting for King Czar's signal to attack, war seemed all but certain, as soon as War protection ended. There was no going back now, the two nations would be plunged into war due to Czar's belligerence. Prime Minister Mahmood sat at his desk, the camera operator counting down from 10. And then it was time to stop thinking and start talking. "Good evening to you all. On this solemn day, I have the unenviable task of informing you that the prospect of war grows ever more likely. As you sit here listening, the mad king Czar is finalising his war plans, and gleefully signing orders that will put the lives of thousands if not millions at grave peril. His audacity and recklessness knows no bounds. He wants only one thing - glory. This vile reprobate will stop at nothing to carve his name into the history books among the most despicable men that this world has had the misfortune of accommodating. For all my efforts to secure a lasting peace for both our peoples, I have not once deluded myself into thinking that this mad man would listen. Our small nation, with its brief history, has never experienced the monstrosities of war. But if Czar thinks that he will roll through and drink the blood of our people like he did the blood of the Noktarians then he is sorely mistaken. For we are a brave people, a proud people, and we will not give up an inch of land in the face of tyranny and oppression. No. We have been planning for this very eventuality. I assure you that our tanks, fighters, bombers and soldiers, are ready and waiting for the coming beast; and we shall slay it with great satisfaction. If he is violent, we will be more violent still; if he cunning, we will outfox his generals and leave them stranded in our wake. Our people will never give up what we have worked so hard for. I now make this plea to the leaders around the world listening to this broadcast. This savagery must be stopped. I welcome anyone who is a friend of peace and freedom, and an enemy of brutality, to come forth and join our humble cause. May we together rain down fire upon Czar's cities so that he is forced underground into the sewers like the rat he is. The times ahead will not be easy, but we will persevere, and we will prevail. czar.bernstein24 | Monday, April 8, 2013 - 02:28 am His Majesty Czar, by the Grace of God, King of Kingdom and Noktar, Lord of all the beasts on the land and fishes of the sea, responds as follows: When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. The hostile actions of the "prime minister" of the land whose name shall not be mentioned have hitherto been known only by those in the lands against which these actions were directed. It is His Majesty's wish to expose the dishonorable prime minister for the tyrant that he is. Our list of grievances is as follows: - Threats of nuclear strike - Refusal to sign an agreement that both sides will refrain from using nuclear weapons, even if conflict ensues. - Breach of agreement: His Majesty the King invaded a neighboring tyrant on the advice of the dishonorable prime minister on the assumption that he would assist as promised. He did not and the Kingdom lost thousands of lives and billions of dollars. Reparations have yet to be offered. - Massive military build up on the part of the dishonorable prime minister with hostile intentions. For all of these reasons, it has become necessary to end the once friendly relations between our nations, sever all ties, and prepare for conflict. So let it be written, so let it be done.
