Thursday, May 27, 2010 - 05:52 am  In response to the latest report on SCWN of war preparations being made: Myself nor The Mob are currently preparing for war on FB, that isn't to say that we aren't always prepared to defend ourselves, so don't get any ideas ;) The reports of weapons reactivating in RYAKER 001 Home are completely false, I keep all weapons in all of my slave countries activated at all times because I do not ever want to be caught unprepared and I have found that when weapons start reactivating, deactivations due to worker issues are quick to follow. We have had great relations with 3M over the past several months and our two feds are both friends and friendly foes because we believe that war does not have to be the dramatic event that so many make it out to be. YOU CAN FIGHT SOMEONE AND STILL BE THEIR FRIEND...I know that's a shocker, but it really is true. It's all in the spirit in which a war is fought and the class and decency of the players fighting. Anyway, a little off topic there but just had to get that in there. So, anyone building weapons and ammo corps 3 per game month in anticipation of a big blowout being imminent between two of the biggest and best war feds in the game should probably adjust priorities. 3M and The Mob are at peace. | Thursday, May 27, 2010 - 08:37 am Yeah seems the purpose of the SCWN is to throw gas on a burning ember. Very useful in fueling fires, and this rumor was according to Dubletar's 'sources'. What responsible news agency in the real world doesn't have their sources screened or put up to scrutiny. The obvious purpose of SCWN is to stir the pot. But to what end? I'm sure dubltar would love to see NV and 3m and their allies weaken themselves by fighting on reports of baseless rumors. The only person I see building up war slaves is dubletar. And the only war I see coming is Wendy coming to put the smackdown on dubletar's rudy poo candy arse! And I heard if he ever gets the stones to drop his protection, me and the wonderpets are gonna pay him a visit, and that ain't no rumor. I would have left it alone, but the little poptart in all his femininity had to act like he fell on his period during a rather calm, peaceful, and jokey chat. He starts whining about how I have half my empire in WP on other worlds, yet when I look at his ENTIRE FB empire it is totally in protection. Well you asked for it, you wanted it, time to knuckle up sweetcakes, you're mouth is writing checks that your candy arse can't cash. Let me know when you grow a pair. I'd rather not waste 30 coins per month waiting for you to come out. No economical sense in that.

| Thursday, May 27, 2010 - 09:36 am Sorry Wendy but that's a bit strong here. Dubletar is doing his job, rumors are a part of this game and the game of life in general. I don't blame him, I blame the person who gave him the information. It's his responsibility to report what is given to him if he feels there is a reasonable basis for the claim and to be fair, no major war on FB for 8-9 months is almost enough to justify the speculation in and of itself. No worries Dubletar, it is what it is. I think the only lesson to learn in this one is that it would be best if you spoke to the leadership of the feds to allow them to either publicly confirm or deny the story...at least then it's their word on the line.

Dub, stick to your good design and funny interviews, there is no story here. You cant distance yourself from what you are saying by hiding in a 'newspaper', as far as I'm concerned anything you 'publish' is just the same as you flaming here in the forums. So yeah, I place myself halfway between Wendy and WB, dont make stuff up about people, or say what you want but be prepared to back it up.

SCWN is a site where the President Dubletar uses propagandist stories and fake, unconfirmed sources to spew utter nonsense to and about the community. And the Simcountry audience has weighed in.
