As of this moment, the tax rate is currently set at 33%, but will be decreasing each game month until it reaches 0%. I would cut the tax rate to 0 immediately, however the game only allows the tax rate to be changed by 03% each game-month. There is also currently a labor shortage, yet the population is growing. it is my hope that low taxes, combined with good education, good health-care, good transportation and high wages, will continue to attract more citizens to the country. There are already several privately owned corporations in the country, and there are also several state owned corporations, of which, most are turning a profit. Please feel free to locate new corporations in this country, or to place bids on existing state-run corporations. I would consider the latter to be more advisable, because most existing state-run corporations currently have enough workers to make a profit, whereas I do not think that there are currently enough workers to support a new corporation, although, as I have said, I hope to attract more immigrants to this country in the future, which should provide a larger pool of workers for your corporations to draw from. Also, if you should find that any corporations which you may choose to locate in The Republic of Veldamia, are running short of workers, I will be happy to close any state-run corporations, in order to provide you with the workers which you need. The Republic of Veldamia is committed to providing a tax-free, business-friendly environment with the largest possible pool of educated workers.
