lasher (Fearless Blue) | Friday, October 17, 2008 - 08:19 am A truce has been asked for and I am willing to consider the possibility. I will not lunch new attacks if the following terms are met. This truce is for pulling back and licking our wounds. No one is to use the truce for future gains or to set up new war slaves. It is fair to say both side have had victories and losses and still have the ability to inflict more. PEACE talks must take place with an agreed upon moderator and both sides must be willing to give back some gains. I will not attack any new targets for 8 hours from this time (0600 GMT) to allow the other parties to agree. However if any major new attacks take place against me I will launch round two and this offer will not be given again. V/R Lasher |
Váli (Fearless Blue) | Friday, October 17, 2008 - 08:57 am A truce has been asked for by whom? |
Dave33 (Fearless Blue) | Friday, October 17, 2008 - 03:47 pm Lasher, It's about 10:00 am on the U.S. east coast. I've been hitting your offesnsive bases on Gamma this morning. I haven't heard of any truce or peace talks. I didn't get any messages sent to me about a truce. In fact, this morning, it has been very quiet in the 3M fed. I just happened to see your post on the FB forum. I'll will stand down my lethal military. I suggest that you give more than 8 hours to agree on the terms of the truce. 3M members are at RL work. I can't speak for the rest of the Federation. I don't care about my 2 small slaves. I was willing to remove landing zone before the war. It was a learning experience. I will message the entire 3M fed to hold off on launching any atttacks on you and to read your post. |

Dave33 (Fearless Blue) | Friday, October 17, 2008 - 06:47 pm March 1 2592, a Large Nuclear War Disaster occurred in Lethal Force. The Large Nuclear War Disaster was felt in your country as well. 1456 people died immediately and 1673 people were wounded. I guess the truce is off. Lasher you never did return my messages. I'm ready for the second wave. All guns blazing. |
Aryan (Fearless Blue) | Friday, October 17, 2008 - 07:35 pm So it's on then thats good news |
lasher (Fearless Blue) | Friday, October 17, 2008 - 08:04 pm Yup its on I was attacked all night by 3 of you. I held off as long as I could but as I said if any major new attacks take place against me its off. |
Dave33 (Fearless Blue) | Friday, October 17, 2008 - 08:28 pm To all the FB players, Lasher recently replied back to my message. It was grouped with some additional war declares. LOL. It's a great time to build construction and military corpoarations on FB. |
CLAM (Fearless Blue) | Saturday, October 18, 2008 - 12:28 am Lasher just kill them......if they were to fight u one at a time u would kill them faster but they fight like 5 or 6 players against one but u can still take them. |
Váli (Fearless Blue) | Saturday, October 18, 2008 - 10:39 am CLAM a noob or group of newer players do not fight experienced players alone. That would be stupid. Time spent playing this game is a big factor in war, it takes a long time to build up a large military. Lasher has had plenty of time to build up, I and many others have not, therefore we must combine our resources. As for the truce, Lasher you will not be the one dictating terms. You started this war you, and you will not be the one to finish it. Your unprovoked aggression will not be rewarded. |
Aryan (Fearless Blue) | Saturday, October 18, 2008 - 01:59 pm Lasher you offerd a truce and then sent off a bunch of declations. Um thats not very trucie. |
lasher (Fearless Blue) | Saturday, October 18, 2008 - 07:57 pm Ok I do not like to banter about these things but Aryan that was a fair question. The war Decs was caused by WAR TREATIES. I was signing war treaties in my Fed and moving countries between feds. I said I would not attack for 8 hours and I did not. After the 8 hours of attacks on me yes I started fighting again just as I said I would. |
andy Clark (Fearless Blue) | Sunday, October 19, 2008 - 08:55 am HMMmmmm ? ac |
andy Clark (Fearless Blue) | Sunday, October 19, 2008 - 05:39 pm Well,Day seven of this, shall we talk turkey or go another seven RL days? I think we,ve run into a bit of a stale mate, trading countries is fun but boring after a week.lol Your call lasher. have a great sunday all readers. ac |
Aryan | Sunday, October 19, 2008 - 06:32 pm Well Lasher i dont want this to sound like a love fest or anything like that but you are a great player. I like almost all aspects of this game a little war a little finance and so on but too much of either gets old after a wile. I figure it like this as i know my fed mates we can keep going indefinatly. We are self employeed or retired we have the time to fight as well as the means. The up shot of this post is that continued war is ok with me. If you want peace you need to talk to Andy he makes those dicisions no one else. Tutonic Knights |
Dave33 (Fearless Blue) | Sunday, October 19, 2008 - 07:27 pm Lasher, I don't like you either, but you're a great fighter. You're still conquering countries while fighting a "group of player" in the 3M Federation. I'm doing my best to defend my empire and strike enough blows to take over one of your countries. I get close and then run out of either weapons or ammo until the next game month. I purchase, trade and transfer weapons and ammo. Its been fun. I inflicted some damage on you. As well as you have on me, you've taken 2 of my weaker slaves. Real life, I'm not retired or self-employed. I do have great career with awesome work hours. It pays for the SC membership and those handy gold coins. |
Jo Jo Hun (Fearless Blue) | Sunday, October 19, 2008 - 10:50 pm This has been an epic war. It's a shame that most simplayers will never know of all the glorious battles. The fight over Nu was incredible--we in 3M went through thousands of fighters, Lasher threw up scores of interceptor wings, we went through thousands more planes. Psi was tooth and claw and bloody as hell. Pride changed hands then changed hands again. Gamma, and then G2, with Death as the fulcrum, were high drama. Many others have fallen on both sides, and others have so far held their turf under attack. This war arose from misunderstandings of intent, though perhaps in the long run it was inevitable. Our attitude has gone from animosity to disdain to respect. We said at the start that Lasher is not superman. He has been tenacious and creative and I am rethinking the superman theory. The Arion Second Wave is moving toward the same rocky shores the First Wave crashed upon. It is not for us to command the waves, only to be prepared if they strike, and to honor a great opponent if they choose not to. Just to be clear, I'm still fighting unless a truce is agreed upon, by Andy. |
lasher (Fearless Blue) | Sunday, October 19, 2008 - 11:49 pm Well Andy what do yo say. I tried once for peace after the start of fighting I can give it one more shot. |
lasher (Fearless Blue) | Monday, October 20, 2008 - 12:00 am Same terms as first post? I will not attack unless attacked for 8 hours. There will need to be a more permanent peace agreement later. If this is agreed 3M must inform all members to avoid what happened last time and I will not rearrange my fed this time. V/R Lasher |
andy Clark (Fearless Blue) | Monday, October 20, 2008 - 12:48 am I think peace would be a welcome restbit to us and you and FB in general. Ill inform the good men in our fed to stand down. We can discuss specifics a little later.Well done with the fighting lasher. We truly enjoyed this one. real date,,,sunday night 6;44 etsern standard time. call me if anyone messes up,ill attend to any mishaps, but there shouldnt be any.Let the wars run out the clock , thalns all, ANDY |

lasher (Fearless Blue) | Monday, October 20, 2008 - 03:06 am Hostilities between Bushwick and Rho Bushwick fleet 'Thing 1' placed a nuclear attack on Santa Rokka city. No damage to Santa Rokka is reported. Rho forces used 1 nuclear defense missile in the defense. On the Bushwick side no losses were reported. The attack may have been reduced or eliminated by Anti Missile Missiles. Rho defense was assisted by the Garrison TG33 unit. |
Jo Jo Hun (Fearless Blue) | Monday, October 20, 2008 - 03:19 am You posted in the middle of fighting. It takes time to notice your posts and then for everyone to get the word. No one is firing now. |
lasher | Monday, October 20, 2008 - 04:22 am OK I will hold |
Váli (Fearless Blue) | Monday, October 20, 2008 - 01:42 pm You really should message people directly. I dont read the forum before doing whatever I need to do. Only when I have spare time. I am sure its the same for others. |
Dave33 (Fearless Blue) | Monday, October 20, 2008 - 03:31 pm Lasher, I just read this forum. I will also hold. I will stand down. I usually don't read the forum during fighting. Especially, during the huge war against you. This time, I got messaged from my federation friends to read the truce on FB. |
andy Clark (Fearless Blue) | Monday, October 20, 2008 - 03:52 pm 14 Hours and holding ,steady troops. AC |
shane vataja (Fearless Blue) | Monday, October 20, 2008 - 10:51 pm any details so far? close to a final deal? |
Aryan (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, October 21, 2008 - 02:17 am In my opinion there are no deals. I have no demands nore will i asceed to any. I'll keep what i have taken. When stripped i'll ditch them. I will however agree to no more fighting for the time being. Eb |
Váli (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, October 21, 2008 - 03:11 am You cant really do deals in this game. Just agree not to fight. Maybe the game should add some deal funcions. |
andy Clark (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, October 21, 2008 - 03:37 am All the countries taken on both side were pretty muched buggered,so leave well enough alone i guess. There can be war treaties,as i see it thats about all. Lets just get on with sim life, and put this one in the history books. Llasher ,,any thoughts ? ac |
CLAM (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, October 21, 2008 - 05:33 am Aryan some CEO's including my self will not be happy if u strip those counties so if u please either sell them as they are or make sure u have other counties that us ceos have a place to move our corps.......plz and ty Chetoos(CLAM) |
lasher (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, October 21, 2008 - 08:02 am Some thoughts hmmmm. @Jo Jo Hun It was an honor to do battle with you. I have the greatest respect for your war fighting abilities. I feel you would have still been a challenge if we fought one on one. You have a good sense of a proper order of battle and had a truly good fleet. @shane vataja What are you doing fighting with only one country in range of one of my mains? I sent a few bombs to discourage you but if you would have become the main threat I would have taken you off of FB. I decided to go after other targets to not take someones only country, not a wise military decision on my part but less wise on yours. @Arno0717 I have two of your countries I took towards the end of fighting and would have taken the third had fighting not stopped. You could have turned one into a war slave and spared the others. You need to work on your defenses and economy a bit too I think. Anyway I have not stripped them and would like to see you get them back in some sort of peace deal. Maybe even tweak the economy a bit for you first. Or maybe we could work something out on the side. @Váli not much to say. You started a bit later than the others and I never had time to concentrate on you. Glad you enjoyed the beans. @Dave33 Well you took a lot of the early fighting and some big hits from me. I had to fight on many fronts and I would think I had taken you out of it Then bang you just kept hitting back. It was a good fight on your part. @Red Dragon Good job taking Pride back. My biggest mistake was putting Pride back in the fight before I had time to build it back up. It could have been a much better fight if you did not see the opportunity to take pride out of it quickly. @Aryan I wonder about you Dead thread post then you taking another one of my countries after AC agreeing to a peace? Was I fighting alone supposed to inform all members of the opposing federation of the truce? Anyway some days I had little time to fight and blame myself for much of the miscommunication. And you did fight well. @andy Clark Well I hope I put up a good fight for you. Unlike some of you I had a full time career and had to do a lot of quick fighting on my lunch and breaks. I picked a bad week for it too, worked 3 14hr days in the middle of the war. If any deals can be made I would like to find a way to trade the countries Led Zeppelin and Led Zeppelin3 back to Arno, The country Vasuvius would be good for shane vataja to have more than one. Lethal Landing Zone 2 could be returned or could be used by Striker7295 and Attila 101 is still somewhat intact. None have been stripped. I would like in return to find a way to have Arion, Nu and Psi back. I still have some GCs left to sweeten any deals. Although I am a bit bitter about losing Lambda 2 at the end I understand all are war losses just would make more sense to divide back some countries were they would do the most good. Why waste what are still good countries. V/R Lasher |
CLAM (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, October 21, 2008 - 08:21 am wow nice fight lasher.....8 to 1.....best war ive seen since i started and hey jo jo i see ur back in the game.....when i build up a country i really would like to fight u since the last time we met in the battle feild it was kind of a one sided battle and we didnt fight head to head.......Chetoos quick question.....can a ceo corp be destroyed if a country is attacked with a nuke?????If so i think u guys cost me 10T worth of corps which was about 10 corps but no big deal and nice fighting. |
Noproblem (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, October 21, 2008 - 10:27 am I think that CEO corps are immune even to nukes, but of course the loss of population will have virtually the same effect. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. A game message may say that it will close, but it may not actually do so. I got fooled by this once in a natural disaster. I took out all supplies out of it, and the money (when you could take money out of indivdual corps), and it didn't close. It bought new supplies, took out loans to do so, and it was a big fat mess. |
Jo Jo Hun (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, October 21, 2008 - 10:33 am Thanks for the kind words, Lasher. Aryan was our stalwart and it would have been a very different war had he not been leading the charge time after time. Your suggestions about the countries are worth considering. I've picked up on a few of the pranks you left behind, but the 700 million or whatever beans in G2 was just hilarious. |
andy Clark (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, October 21, 2008 - 05:15 pm Lasher, I will post a fed message and have my men call you regarding the country situation. They know better the individual states of the new countries.Im sure some arrangments can and will be reached. Classy touch on the individual comments to my fed brothers. AC |
shane vataja (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, October 21, 2008 - 06:48 pm i am glad u didnt take me out i knew i was weak i had just restarted building bc i had lost my small 3 country empire in a previous war i kinda jumped into this one unprepared to be attacked and not prepared to do much damage either but all for one and one for all is the moddo |
Arno0717 (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, October 21, 2008 - 10:42 pm Hi Lasher, Great fight I would like you to keep the Zeppelins as a trophy and a well done from me. You fought well and its only fair that you get something out of it. All the very best Arno |
Aryan (Fearless Blue) | Wednesday, October 22, 2008 - 05:17 am This war seamed to have its share of miss comunications. I did in fact post after andys reply to your truce offer. However Ac did not call for a general ceace fire at that moment. So untill i recieved an official order to ceace hostilities i felt free to fight. I would like to thank you for your complement however. Also once again extend my complements to you. This is funny now, but at the time it wasent at one point i was fighting one of your countries i forget witch but anyway i was hitting it preaty hard and the index was actualy going up insted of down of cource it did eventualy go down but for a time it made things interesting. |
Treasurer (White Giant) | Thursday, October 23, 2008 - 05:50 am Index going up during battle is a result of resupply and newly purchased units, as well as regular up ticks. And yes, nukes do kill ceo corps. They are considered disasters. They are collateral damage to nuclear warfare. @Lasher: Very classy my old friend. Sorry I left FB so long ago, but my WG empire needs all the attention I can give it. I hope you and Madhatter are still keeping up the SFO tradition. T |
