Devlin | Monday, August 21, 2017 - 01:30 am I would like to know if there would be anyone interested in helping to agree a merger between federations on Kebir Blue that put as their number one priority the maintenance of a large (hopefully maximum limit) union of active members in a democratic framework. The aim would be to build affiliated common markets and enterprises to help and invest in member states economies, in a democratic way. This federation will also guarantee safety and security and also hopefully a powerful combined military capability. The aim is simple. To agree to the creation of a superfed for Kebir Blue. What differences exist between federations of today on Kebir blue is unknown to me and i would appreciate some expertise if anyone see this with any knowledge? However, what i would stress is that i would hope for any endeavour such as the one i propose to put the potential fun this game has to offer in being a member of an active, free and democratic club of many countries. This is my question, why not? Anyone is welcome to answer me. |
Aries | Monday, August 21, 2017 - 04:58 pm Because of the current (sad) state of the war game, there is little that brings players into conflict and paltry incentive to participate in the war game. In the current environment, there are few federations and nothing that would approach appearing like a "superfed". If you are interested, the most active fed I know of anywhere is the one I joined on KB. If you are interested, message The Peoples Republic of Malizi about joining and apply to the Pnakotic Congress. Hopefully, with the recent realization of this by the GM, fixes are coming and reason to engage in diplomacy and participate more actively in federations is on the horizon. |
Khome | Tuesday, August 22, 2017 - 04:15 am Devlin; good to see you again. If you're interested, send me a message in KB, we can talk. |
Devlin | Wednesday, August 23, 2017 - 09:49 pm I've managed to start my own fed actually. It's called the House of Nua and it's CM is called the Commonwealth of Nua. It has about 5 players of so but i have been searching for opportunities for merging or whatever. It might be alittle difficult in process, especially with the common markets in particular. However, my ideal goal is join an active fed or potentially active fed. Years ago when i first starting playing this game i started a small fed that quickly merged into the Soviet Federation of the time, and it was the sheer size of the fed that made the game worth playing in some respects. A large fed full of 15-20 players constantly recruiting and constantly conversing. Holding elections and creating a real union aswell as an alliance. The Pnokotic Congressional Order, I must say is a prime candidate for merging but i would want a sort of guarantee. I know and trust Knome aswell. However its interesting to see some old players i knew from the soviet federation days in different feds on KB today. The Unique and so on. Anyway please take my message to the Pnokotic Congress and see what they say to my proposal and i will talk to my people too. Thanks Knome. And if anyone sees this and likes my idea. Please contact me. My country is the Kingdom of Greenwoodland. |
Aries | Thursday, August 24, 2017 - 05:08 am I have looked over your fed. It seems similar to other ones. No one is of a war level that can participate in PvP. I have tried to organize training for PvP, or war games, but the game currently lacks incentive for its participation vs. the risk, and I find few players with interest in it. As for Pnakotic Congress, I believe there are 4-5 of us of PvP war level. That might be the highest in the game for any fed. What is this guarantee you speak of? |
Devlin | Thursday, August 24, 2017 - 08:25 pm What I meant by guarantee was that I was joining an federation that was active democratic and includes any players. The game can be a it shit for people just registering, not yet paying the premium. It's just the economic game. So my idea is to have a federation that acts as a sort of club of players I don't know what sort of way the Pnakotic Order is run, so I suppose I'd like to know is it's open to the sort of way the Soviet fed was run? |
Andy | Thursday, August 24, 2017 - 10:49 pm This brings me to the discussion about federations and the need for new players to join federations, especially when we update the war game. we will encourage new players to join federations and stay there and we will support this efforts with special boosts to countries who join. |
Khome | Friday, August 25, 2017 - 03:42 am Devlin- The Pnakotic Congressional Order is not as active as the old Soviet Federation we all remember; however there are not as many members. When the ranks grow we might begin some sort of system that may resemble what you remember. In the meantime, I think Aries is correct in saying that the Pnakotic is the only solid fed left. Even without the active participation, it's still prudent to join for defensive purposes, which is the most important part. But feds do need some adjusting in order to increase their appeal; the rules of engagement with the war levels, even after signing the war contracts are confusing. |
Michael | Sunday, August 27, 2017 - 06:22 pm Devlin: As the newest member of the House of Nua federation I am all for a merger with Pankotic but do you want us to remain as seperate fed allied with Pnakotic or join them outright? Suggestion (which I will also place in Suggestion section on Forum). As an added benefit or bonus of being a member of a federation is instead of going to GM for gold coins a member(s) of a federation could assist other members financially or economically (we see that today in the European Union where Germany and France are helping out Greece and Spain, also to a lesser degree the United States where rich states help out some of the poorer ones). |
Khome | Sunday, August 27, 2017 - 10:08 pm What means would we use to assist other members? I would need to discuss this with our members. |
Devlin | Monday, August 28, 2017 - 01:02 am Personally I would rather a complete merge into the Pnakotic Congress outright. I don't see the purpose of building a large an democratic federation would be accomplished by just becoming a sort of sub and aligned fed. As Knome said, it's prudent to join for even defensive purposes, and those defensive advantages aren't given by remaining separate for the congress. |
Khome | Monday, August 28, 2017 - 09:24 pm It's only necessary to create separate chapters if members exceed 25 |
Jauterson001 | Wednesday, September 27, 2017 - 01:30 pm I'd like to see The Protectorate come back. |
