Dominik | Friday, May 10, 2013 - 01:08 am Hello everyone, I am writing this message because of the following. I am currenlty ruling the 'Republic of Selene', and all my indexed are ok-ish. However, my population suddenly fell with 33,685. Could anyone tell me why this could have happened? I am looking forward to receiving an answer, and I thank in advance Dominik |
Andy | Friday, May 10, 2013 - 11:43 pm Is the population very high? is the health index low? 34000 is not a huge number but a decline can take place for any on these two reasons. A bad economy could also cause people to migrate. |
Dominik | Saturday, May 11, 2013 - 10:02 am Andy, thanks for your answer! The population was around 13,070,000 at that time. Health index: 124.5 Education: 116.15 Employment: 95.5 Social security: 102 Transportation: 125.5 Business: 115.5 Welfare: 118 Migration index: 59.65 Salaries for corporate workers are set at 300.00, and for government workers at 225.00. Even though I'm a beginner (I started about two weeks ago), as far as I know those indexes are not that terribly bad. So, that's why I was wondering what might have happened ^^ |
Christos | Saturday, May 11, 2013 - 06:59 pm An earthquake perhaps? |
Dominik | Saturday, May 11, 2013 - 07:24 pm Wouldn't that be featured in the newspaper? |
Scarlet | Sunday, May 12, 2013 - 03:23 am Did you do any attacks? |
Dominik | Sunday, May 12, 2013 - 10:48 am No, since I started I've been a completely peaceful player (I even decreased the active military to a low as possible number to save some more money). The only noticeable negative thing that preceded the fall in population, was the message that the number of hospitals has decreased from 141 to 138 due to a lack of senior doctors (but the health index is still is 123.8). Maybe the fall was just random? I mean, people might be attracted to higher salaries in neighbouring countries, or they were attracted by better weather in other countries? :P |
Crafty | Monday, May 13, 2013 - 10:06 pm Your health index might be a little low. If you lose hospitals then yes, your birth rate will fall, could have done that to your pop. Be sure you dont let your doctors fall that low again obviously ;) And the health index moves very slowly in response to any disturbance compared to the other indexes. |
