i'm in the process. my membership runs out in May and i'm sticking around to rack up a few more gc's.
family health issues, having to go back to work to help out in the family business and a general lack of interest i just felt it was time.
i've enjoyed the game but change happens, both in the game and in our lives. i've made some good friends over the years and may come back someday.

Oh man...
That blows mate. Well, i'll give my last goodbye:-
Parsi, you was always the most understanding player on this game, for me anyway. You always took it within your stride to avoid wars, work things out and ultimately, make the game fun for everyone.
When i first started off years n years ago, i was one confused and lost soul among this game. You took me under your wings and taught me everything i needed to know about the game. You helped me develop my first country which hit rank 5 within a month, bearing in mind this is when KB was lively. You taught me that making an account and just rampaging war with players was nothing but foolish, and there was a way to make money out of the game. I remember when i wanted to wage war with someone from a different federation, and you literally gave me a message slap lol I think that put me straight in a instant haha.
Overtime i learned everything i needed to know about the economy, and was one of the best at making money (making around 200 - 300b per month). You told me to make a decent amount of cash, then and only then would i be able to take on board the war aspect of the game.
I left for reasons i can't remember, and came back. You once again took my under your arms, told me about various changes, and helped me once again become one of the best with my country hitting rank 2 / 3 within a month.
But then... after leaving the game 2 - 3 years ago, and returning not too long ago, we had a hiccup. I'm not gonna go over it again, but it was... what's the word... difficult not to have simple discussions and tactics regarding this game, not to mention a good laugh. I'll admit i haven't been the same since i left your company, but i guess ultimately we have to find our own way in this game.
I'll miss you like crazy, and so will many others i'm sure. Mate, and enemy ;) take care of your health, enjoy life to it's max, and maybe one day you'll rejoin and we'll be re-united, who knows eh.

All the best Parisfal. You were always a great and highly respected member of the KB community and a superb member of the Protectorate. I will miss your presence on this world.
Thanks for teaching me everything I know about this game and I wish you good luck helping out your family, and that your family member gets better soon.

thanks to both Sunny and Tom. i try to stay level headed. but at times i'm just a grumpy old man go sideways. but i love teaching both this game and other venues. i guess that's what i want to be remembered for.

Well Crap. I return after as year and a half away only to pass the best in the game heading out the door. Parsifal you were the reason I stayed as long as I did before. Hope you and yours prosper.
