Hello KB,
Been awhile since I have been here, and now I lack my Hugh empire which once was one of the biggest here on KB in 2007-8.
But I was able to get the same country I did before  , so those who know me, ...hehehe you know where to look.
I guess the game has changed some, no free Ceo with your first country now-a-days, and a few other interesting things to figure out.
So I wont be steaming up any headlines like before, would prefer to build a highly profitable empire this time, more effort on economics with expansion at a much slower rate. As such,I'd prefer to raise Defensive arms, at a monthly rate instead, while I improve infrastructure and my Corporations.Contract it, then forget about it while stocks climb.
But, knowing the game as I do, I know the time for action will come and I better prepare today..starting from scratch, without a Ceo.
You never know when 6 or 7 Nazi rats will show up again...forming a Fed as they did, and half to be exterminated! Or for that matter, one idiot like Emory or whatever his name was...Credit Card Commando! hehehe.
So, I'm accepting monthly contracts for a long time for basic armaments ammo. I'll make a budget out of it, and leave the balance for improving other things.
As such, I'll start on my inventories in the following catagories:
Anti-aircraft missiles
Defensive missiles
Interceptor missiles
Helicopter missiles
Missile Interceptors
Secondary considerations:
Light Arty shells
Light Tank ammo
But prices are pretty high currently for the last two, so they will depend on how fast I'm able to increase profit with growth.
Dont have a Federation or Common Market yet, and will be working out of state (RL), bringing lap top with me...so I dont see massive expansion as a concern, or danger to anyone.
But I'm not worried, I see Laguna Still playing, along with Zappa and a few others...so should have plenty of support. At least I hope..hehehe!

Never was to much going on here on KB. Just some entertainment from time to time. It was fun when it happened tho.
Figured I'd invade some C3's here on KB, get use to the military changes, and then start a country on another world in a half a year or so for action. I Use to love my Navy, used it pretty dang good too...hope that hasnt changed. Been reading up on other forums, about War, but even the other worlds seem meek in comparison to the old days..hehehe Hell Sam Houston was invading or nuking someone almost 2 a week it seemed on WG. And Defcon was always getting into something on FB
But, this will be a good game to play while working out of town in North Dakota. At least through winter, while deciding to move there or not.

dont need any Def armaments contracts.
They have changed the game quite a bit concerning debt, you either have a positive cash balance sheet or you cant build more corp's. And since I'm busy upgrading the one's I have, there's no room for buying war material. Without using a credit card, your really are limited in your growth.
Not a problem cause I caught it soon enough. Problem lays with the cost of improving index's and upgrading corp Effectivity and Quality. I'm actually running a positive 44B cash flow, even though I woke up with a -131B cash sheet.
So I Actually slashed Def, reduced transpo index (Cost of maintence thus),lowered SS payments just untill I'm in the green with both, monthly cash flow (which I am) and the countries final balance sheet (which isnt).
Looks like you now have two choices, reach for your credit card or slow your boat. And currently it looks like the SC has finally taken their job seriously, so thats no solution. Guess I'll slow my boat and improve country at a much reduced rate.
Interesting..makes those bonuses for levels even more important doesnt it.
Looks like Sim Country has learned a lesson from 2008 Real World implosion and not letting the same thing take place in game. Wish real world economics worked this way. But sadly, no lesson was learned by it. It's not a Revenue problem, but a spending problem.
Other then this little bump in the road , I'm progressing up the ranks pretty steady anyway. Just got to get a handle on it now. Few other thing I've either forgot, or are new to figure out besides. |

as i said there are a lot of changes in the game. many are quite subtle and some really rock you. like the space program. i haven't figured out how to make money from it. but there are some weapons that can only be make by your corps or bought from the space stations. But the space stations require that you have not only shuttles, and space centers in your country, but also space stations that will trade the appropriate commodity. i tried building shuttles and finally gave up. you need about five or six components to build a shuttle which means five or six corps that all lose money. same with weapons corps. they all lose money.

First Ticker change, I've already reduced deficit, by 65B...so wont be long, I can buy another corp. Glad I know the game as much as I do. Changes, other then toasting of Def build right now, didnt effect much, population growth rate even increased.
Oh, and thanks on the heads up on Space Program, wont even think about it till I have a population alot higher then I do (going on 15M)thus more income and money to waste. From what I remember, Strategic arms program was the same thing, tons of corp's, produces small results, for massive cost and no profit.
Good to know, maybe in 6 real life months I'll take a crack at it. But at my present rate of +20,000 pop, I neednt worry about it for a long time. |

I like the level system tho. I run my country good, but keep myself at level 1 for a while, let my corp's mature a bit, well balanced country, then when I'm ready to attack a C3 or think about it, I'll buy a prem. Along with it my first Ceo. Take me a while to get there not using my card till then but why invest in something if you cant get the basics right.
So far, I like the changes. Got some time on my hands...and using my card just once is my goal.

Was 7 to one. As soon as my fed knew my attention on attaking a member of the 7, they voted against me. Armed agression wasnt tolerated on KB!
Didnt matter..I went to war, was joined by my friend Kazari, and then Laguna.
Protectorate was against the action, so was much of the world. Even though they were displaying pics and flags of nazi scum.... enough said.

Sunny, From when I played before, I had 8-10 countries regular, ran an empire of over 600 million to 700 million. Sorry bro..in those respects, your 130 million aint shit.
Now, Unfortunately, I dont have the time to invest into anything but a regular, let the game take it's own pace, country build. My country just has 15 million. And in real life, I just picked up my contractors licence for the State of North Dakota, working 7 days a week earning 250.00/10 hours a day take home pay, as required by my present employer.
Didnt want to come to ND during the Winter, but this is were the work is. That being said, it will take quite a while for my corp's to upgrade on their own, and my cash which is now over 2 trillion, to increase to a level owning a Ceo makes sence and to justify the added costs of going to a prem account with a Ceo.
But's it's not even enough for a proper millitary build, for the taking of C3's while learning the new War rules, much less the numbers of arms needed for an actual battle between players, and the stockpiles I will have to built up in a Ceo. (Without Using A Credit Card, That Is)
To make a long story short....sooner or later perhaps you will get a visit from me, If I dont lose interest in the game first, secondly, I'm not attacking a C3 or getting myself a Ceo for sometime yet.....
Thirdly... and most importantly.....
Go piss up an electrified rope, you ignorant piss ant...before I do get interested enough, to break my own rule, and give you the attention your trying to warrant.

Tom, The Protectorate (I believe i spelt it properly, unlike you ) may be the biggest fed on KB, the most respected with the most experienced players, but i ain't no ass kisser. I am under no obligation to respect or to be 'cool' towards the fed. It's a two way street. It all started when i gave out facts on the other post, and some of you didn't like it. Yes Facts, which until today i KNOW are facts. CC and Parsi know what i'm on about.
By the way, i've been a member of the fed about, 3 times, twice i left the game, this time i got removed which speeded up the process.
Anyway, as you said Tom, we're doing this because we're bored. Read up, i'm bored shitless too. KB is dead, you look at WG, GR and maybe FB. I bet they have some fun going on there. Yes Kb was never intended to be a war planet, but hey, a few friendly wars or banta here or there wouldn't go amiss. Nowadays with you people, it's like treading on egg shells, which if you ask me, in a game, is pathetic. Gosh i've written a lot right now, probably cause i had a glass of Sprite!

Sunny's corps are quite expensive, I wont be doing the volume I had hope for, but Darmathia will get a face life of 5 million soon. By Xmas Tom, and I'd be happy to get some profit producing Ceo's in my country.
As a matter of Fact, whatever Ceo's I have need to expand rapidly as well...and provide thier help on cost. I'm not willing to sell the farm just give myself a good shot!
Sunny's corps are that damned expensive, and my 18 million brand new country, that hasn't recieved one red nickle yet....is barely touching tits to go..bro! Just now getting there.

did you get my message to your questions? please read the docs and old news. ex. you can't nuke c3's. the cost to take corps is outrageous. it no longer is considered and act of war since the one losing the corp makes out like a bandit, even if you move the corp. all this was done to help the new player, but has resulted in a much calmer sc. war levels are another feature that's a bit tricky and meant to help new players. secure mode is always in play for the main country unless you remove secure mode. you also need to read about who you can attack at the different war levels. it's a bit confusing.
Brince, you may have already read all this stuff but if you haven't it's good to read.
and yes you're funny and have given us all some humor in this dusty old world of KB. keep up the banter. it's good fun. |

What the hell?
No havent had time to read yet, and no messages to me so far. This is all bullshit..so what are we suppose to do, look at each other funny? Make scary faces? What is the point of creating a nuke program, if using them requires as many varibles as a moon shot?
This game is almost totally pointless now...do wars even happen? Sad. Well, guess I will read the rules before even buying that 5 million pop. Dont like breaking my word, but if what you say is true...why bother?

Guess this means I got to antagonise him enough to get him to build 3 countries, come out of protection, where we mutually agree to nuke one another, with no messages to the Game masters about unfairness.
I'm not even sure I could come up with enough stuff to say about him to make the duration it would take to achieve that goal. The Game Masters have enabled a bad case of moral hazard here in SC. Everyone's actions,even mine, no matter their peace level, War level, pipe dreams, or bad spelling, and or typo's, should be held accountible for their actions, and or "Words."
You take moral hazard out, we could be basket weaving while playing this game, on a psychward somewhere in bangkok! I'm sure out there between fits of Manic depressive and a bad case of terette's syndrome, one could find a conflict long enough to fill the bill!. And it not matter in the world! Nice diplomatic game, covers all the bases.
It's like playing touch football, over real football, hehehe only without the touch as well!

Brice, let me make one thing clear right now.
I don't hate / despise you, and for the KB world, i wouldn't mind going to war with you. The current issue i'm having would be me moving out of WP, and being attacked by a different player.
As you said, we need a mutual decisive decision. To get any country to the state mine is currently in right now, would take 2 months. I'm prepared to risk it all, but not until Jan. After that, we'll get talking.
If you read a few other posts, i don't like the fact we can't nuke c3s around a country either. I preferred it back in the days, so at least we agree on something there. Nor do i like the fact, some of the lovely weapons have been moved to the space program. It's just annoying.
In regards to the corps, sigh, i'll say it honestly, slowly will be nicely for me, immediate will be better, none would be the worst. Make the decision fast, I WANT TO GO ON FB!!! ;) Anyway, 28 mins til xmas, so, cya after 2moz ese.

Of course both parties would have to be at that level... but still. Then you could just abandon when done. hehehe No real harm done to rest of your empire.
Better look into which kinds of nukes have to be in space program, for it to be worth it..but still sub missiles should be untouched, not possibly all the bad boys.

I think, personally speaking of course, there's something about doing it in a forbidden zone that is highly appealing, and again at least give me a "What for" a gaol, for continued growth.
That wont be an easy task, and would require months till completion, as Sunny himself has said. Hell at this stage, it's not even about Sunny anymore, but whether it can simply be done, you know, if anything for the next asshat.

Well back to North Dakato tomarrow, which was why, with plenty of growing left to do for my country, it didnt make sence to purchase a Ceo, pirate Sunny's corp's, or become a premium member.
Besides, to prove a point I will, but basically I'm against the pirating of corp's. Do unto others as you would have done unto you.
All in all, it was fun and interesting. Now I return to the land of a shitty internet connection, where logging in just once a day is such a great thing to happen. Damned old flooded out home, my boss bought to live and work out of there..since there's nothing to rent..hell we just got the water heater working for showers and to go shower once every 3 days in a YMCA before that. Most peeps, hundreds maybe thousands still live in Fema trailors. And the home owners who are our customers are always happy we are there, since everything in construction is backed up forever with well over 1 and even 2 year waiting periods.
But thats the life of Brince off Sim country, here I am Brince the Nazi slayer and other men of bad asshatry...hehehe.There I'm a character in the old novel grapes of wraith..searching for work many miles from home.
But nothing personal..just a game. Dont really even dislike Sunny, other then he's got a hell of a chip on his shoulder....
But with the slow, but indept growth of my country, at least it will make anything more possible in the future...

Of course Laguna, hell I started the Nazi Wars by going after one guy, with a 6 countrty empire close together. Was joined by Kazari we formed the DKU, and we made the guy leave the nazi's..but Laguna...hehehe holy shit, he goes over and takes on the other 6 with massive aqmounts of countries, by himself at first. hehehe Laguna is an animal when angered.

Well been back for a week now... country is coming along, was ranked around 200 once, but added 3 million..wanted 5..but anyway..game quit letting me buy pop, so only got 3 million.
It use to be once yuou bought coins you were good to go, now you got to be a prem member. Yeahhhh.. good call on that one.
Anyway, ranked in 700's now and improving again. Countries worth, done basically from gaming means
Registration nov 30th I think, and shes worth over 81.00..not bad.
But i'm running 95% employment plus going to 97 soon..most corp's are fully upgraded...even tweeking corp's now. Trying to remember what I have forgotten...hehehe at least economically.
Moral to the story, not much more to do but buy a prem now...work those rank awards. I've got 9 trillion already..earned the hard way...never have pumped cash into empire, just those 3 million pop. (I bought another 3 with first 15 GC given as well for joining...so 6)
And if you go there you go with at least 1 Ceo.
So before I go back to ND around the 7th...I'll prolly become a paying member... but building a proper country does take time.hehehe....
Done about everything to do at this level. Tomarrow turned into Jan 23rd Sunny! lol! Wrong call on that one!
Anyway... got to become a prem member to enjoy any of the coins I bought. hehehe nice one! |

But I go to work around the 7th. So strategic and invading C3's will have to wait until a month after that for more experience with new engine. Might be able to arm myself with nukes out-of-town, Havent read up on it yet...who knows.

Just spent a marathon 3-4 days switching corp's from level 1's to level 3's. Done..but of course they got to upgrade.
Toasting some fully upgraded corp's for new one's sucks in the income bracket, but hopefully that wont take long to turn around either. There are 15 corp's, or 1/3 of my income, now back in the lower 100's...
But I did it all Staying Above 90% employment the whole time. Needed to train a boat load of HTeng's though. Still training them! 219 point Ed Index... University index edge 400, but I dont think it does much good once you exceed your lower ed index's...so I'm backing them off to higher 200's. hehehe those damned HTeng's would be the reason.
Game still keeps ya busy...hehehe. |

Was damned hairy 2 days ago. Employment back to 92% from 89.9%. I could have used them then.
But you could top off last High Tec corp I have planned...should put me back at 95% where I started.
I'll take a look at strategic soon. No nukes is just...well.. to.. depressing. That will make war more of a job, instead of a splended event surround in Good Nespaper reports and laughter!
