Tom Morgan (Kebir Blue) | Friday, September 9, 2011 - 02:51 pm Hey everyone, If any new or returning players want to join a stable and experienced fed, please contact the Protectorate. We are an active fed with good experience, and we will strive to teach and educate new players the game while also supporting older players. Also, recently, the Protectorate has made several leaps forward in reform, particularly the fed is planning to launch a space program which will help us keep up-to-speed with new innovations in the game. So, if you're interested, shoot a message to any member of the Protectorate. For rules and guidelines, please read the post on the Federations thread on the SC Forums. Cheers, T. (p.s. Any hi-jacking/spam posting/starting of arguments of this post by other federations/players will be ignored. If you want to vent, create another thread.) |

Lord Neptune (Kebir Blue) | Tuesday, September 20, 2011 - 11:36 am Are we in the same fed different branch? Am currently in the academy |
Tom Morgan (Kebir Blue) | Tuesday, September 20, 2011 - 02:12 pm I think you still come under the Protectorate Complex, which is how we were 'classified' by the last Top Federations Thread somewhere on this forum. I do think you are affiliated with us to some degree. |
Parsifal (Kebir Blue) | Tuesday, September 20, 2011 - 02:33 pm several real years ago The Protectorate had the main fed and about 5 regional sub feds. The Academy was specifically for new players to learn the game. as time has passed empires have become smaller, thus the need for these sub feds was diminished and they passed. The Academy continued and is a fed of its own, not really affiliated with The Protectorate. We have a good relationship with them and consider them friends. that's just a little history. |
Lord Neptune (Kebir Blue) | Wednesday, September 21, 2011 - 12:38 am Wow so this was alot bigger than now |
Parsifal (Kebir Blue) | Wednesday, September 21, 2011 - 01:40 am yes there were about a dozen empires that had close to 10 countries each with 40m/country each. but we were not alone. there were others that were as big or nearly as big. goes to show how the game has changed. you can't rack up the kind profits that you used to be able to. it was not unusual to have 50-100t in loans and 100's of thousands of weapons in critical catagories. interesting time, but in some ways quite stressful. with that much to watch after you had to keep on your toes and had to have some experiences fed mates to watch your back. |
Lord Neptune (Kebir Blue) | Wednesday, September 21, 2011 - 08:00 am I take it that u were one of the top players at this time period Kool how long have u played? Do u know my chairman? So many question do u mind me asking Mr/Mrs Parsifal How long does it takes to get a C3? If its so easy why does takes so long etc? I bet i could learn alot i dont mean to bug u are anything am i bugging u? |
Lord Neptune (Kebir Blue) | Wednesday, September 21, 2011 - 08:03 am 50-100t no joking omg just think of what i could buy my army would be 2,0000,000 plus plus.U guys are no joke wow |
Parsifal (Kebir Blue) | Wednesday, September 21, 2011 - 03:05 pm what is your fed? i have played nearly five years. i've been #1 several times in both empires and enterprises. i've cut back considerably in the last two years. the interest on those loans was very high, so you could sit back and clip coupons and make a pot full. GM changed all that. with each major change in the game seasoned player have left. part of the game though is figuring out how to beat/work around the GM. and he keeps plugging the holes to where now it's hard to make a buck. i almost guit a couple of times but then found new challenges. as to taking a c3, it depends on whether it's next to you or whether you have to leap frog. next to you is about 30 minutes. leap frog takes about 12hours plus. and it's not easy for a new player. but once you get the hang of it you can do it quickly. i took 3 c3s yesterday and could have taken more but i got tired. |
