Parsifal (Kebir Blue) | Wednesday, August 4, 2010 - 01:34 am KB is a very sleepy little world. there are only a few successful empires that exist there and most of us have been there for a long time. it seems though that every time someone makes a request for an untied grant from the security council, it's voted down. Currently, The Sultanate of Anzat has made a request and it's being voted down. i really don't understand this. this person has only one country and seems to be a good player. let's get behind him/her and help them out and while you're at it, if you need funding from the Security council please make a request. |
King Xenu (Kebir Blue) | Thursday, August 5, 2010 - 07:28 am I vote we give all the security council money to Nix! |
Green Starfish (Kebir Blue) | Thursday, August 19, 2010 - 03:56 am I have been recently selected to be a member of the security council. I wanted to show my support for giving aid to any new, active player. New players shouldn't hesitate to ask for aid on this thread or on Laguna's thread. Thanks! |
Laguna | Sunday, August 29, 2010 - 07:10 pm Today I sent a message to ten players asking if they wanted development aid. Two of them have already replying, both agreeing. One of the proposals is already up for vote. The other player is Denmark and his country is Danish Republic of Scandinavia. Someone else will have to propose this 5T grant and others, while mine is still up. The aid grants keeps the players who receive them motivated, along with providing some money to play. But a message is also sent to all players in the world and that beckons their participation. That is priceless. I'll probably keep messaging players for two weeks. After that time, I just hope players will get the nerve to ask for the aid themselves. |
SmoothDrock (Kebir Blue) | Saturday, September 4, 2010 - 08:18 pm My name is Smooth Drock and I recently started a country on Kebir Blue. I am still learning the basics but I'm coming along nicely. I've gained level 3 and look forward to advancing further. There is a resolution on vote right now for development aid for my small country and I would appreciate any support that anyone might be inclined to give. Any advice would be very much welcomed as well. Thank you for your time and support. |
Banedon Runestar (Kebir Blue) | Thursday, October 7, 2010 - 05:41 am Hello, my name is Banedon Runestar and I recently won the election to the presidency. Etar is a small and growing country. I have recently put forward a request for development aid and I hope it is accepted. I'm planning on building my country into an economic engine and advancing up the ranks. I'm currently making plans to deliver relief supplies to affected nations once I figure that system out and have some supplies. Thank you for your votes of support! |
Green Starfish (Kebir Blue) | Thursday, October 7, 2010 - 11:20 pm I also encourage all players to vote for Banedon's aid when it reaches world voting. He seems like a good player to encourage. Also, I would appreciate another security council member submitting a proposal for Jackson Commonwealth. I posted his message below. Thanks in advance! *** GreenStarfish, I am a new member and have sent this message requesting your assistance in receiving development aid from the Security Council. I have built my cash to over 2 T earning from 20 to 30 billion a month. Since then I have been hit by an earthquake and have my monthly earnings have been cut in over a half. And still do not have all of the ramifications of the earthquake fixed yet. If you could give any assistance, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks Chad |
Green Starfish (Kebir Blue) | Saturday, October 9, 2010 - 07:05 pm Wait List 1) Jackson Commonwealth 2) The Independent State of Para sankta "Hello i am a new player in kebir blue and i was hoping if could possibly get some aid, not much but just enough to deal with the various problems surrounding my nation." |
Green Starfish (Kebir Blue) | Monday, October 11, 2010 - 10:17 pm Wait List 1) Jackson Commonwealth 2) The Independent State of Para sankta 3) Wales Any security council member that can help with proposals would be much appreciated! |
Green Starfish (Kebir Blue) | Wednesday, October 13, 2010 - 02:56 am Okay! The wait list went fast! #1 - has over $2t in cash, making him ineligible for aid #2 - no longer exists #3 - Wales, appears to be growing and learning the game. Aid proposed! Your votes are appreciated! GS |
Parsifal (Kebir Blue) | Friday, October 15, 2010 - 11:09 pm i want to commend all the players who are voting "yes" for aid to the new countries that have been proposed to receive such aid. with KB having trouble keeping its head above water it's good that folks see the wisdom in helping one another. i also want to commend Green Starfish in particular who has worked hard at bringing these nations to our attention. keep up the good work. |
Green Starfish (Kebir Blue) | Monday, October 18, 2010 - 04:08 am Thanks, Parsifal. Unfortunately, my time on the security council has ended. I have been getting a lot of requests lately, which is hopefully a good sign for the well-being of KB. I have directed the players I couldn't help to message other council members. I hope the security council continues to step-up and help new players get established. GS |
Laguna | Monday, October 18, 2010 - 11:45 pm Such grim view. You all need to realize that KB isn't more inactive than the rest, but quite simply more silent. I find it easier to find responsive new players on Kebir Blue than on the other worlds. |
Green Starfish (Kebir Blue) | Wednesday, October 20, 2010 - 10:11 pm Wow...I think that was the briefest break from the security council ever. I have just been re-elected. If you're a new player and would like some aid, please post here or message me. Laguna - I agree that I have liked the interactions I have been having with our KB new players over the past couple of weeks. GS |
White Darkness (Kebir Blue) | Friday, October 22, 2010 - 09:10 pm Kebir Blue no longer qualifies as the most inactive. Little Upsilon I believe now has the fewest registered players. Which considering I was contacted by a few more individuals today and after looking at their empires, it's probably past time to offer some basic advice that I've found generally works, but a new player may not be aware of. #1: Shut off the in-game automation of tasks. Regrettably the in-game automation is inefficient, wasteful, and spends money on illogical choices. You're a human being, not a computer controlled country. #2: Focus on education and employment first. These two will items will carry you farther than anything else on the road to being debt free. Lower taxes, improve education (a good goal is a 150 index), adjust education priorities, build corporations, lower taxes and post in the forums soliciting Enterprise development. |
Laguna | Saturday, October 23, 2010 - 11:15 am Quote:Kebir Blue no longer qualifies as the most inactive.
It never did. |
White Darkness (Kebir Blue) | Sunday, October 24, 2010 - 12:06 am Probably not, but there was that long period where the market was so stagnant, that it certainly gave the impression. A plus for their shifting new players around to various worlds without choice, only drawback is that they left ol' Little Upsilon out. |
Crafty | Monday, October 25, 2010 - 12:42 am KB still only just survives because I allow it to. |
Laguna | Tuesday, November 2, 2010 - 11:14 pm These two countries are waiting for a 5T grant: La Republica del Moreno of Greg Newby Rapaxcia of Cringe Schrapnel |
Green Starfish (Kebir Blue) | Tuesday, November 9, 2010 - 04:36 pm La Republica del Moreno aid has been proposed! |
chadg (Kebir Blue) | Tuesday, November 23, 2010 - 10:41 pm Looking for aid for Jackson Commonwealth. Last time I asked, the game would not allow. Now after 3 earthquakes and major damage to my corps and work force, I am in the worst financial shape since taking over the county. I have had to close down 10 corps because of casualties and lost 6 corps in the earthquakes. If someone could help, I would appreciate it. |
Laguna | Tuesday, November 23, 2010 - 11:31 pm Still can't.
Quote:You cannot give Development Aid to Presidents who already reached Game Level 3.

swordland (Kebir Blue) | Saturday, November 27, 2010 - 03:48 pm I have been a member of the security council for a few months now and I always vote for aid unless the country in question appears to be spending much more on their military instead of building up their country through economic means. Roger The Empire of Makam |
Dr Philip Goode (Kebir Blue) | Friday, December 3, 2010 - 03:53 pm I just became a full member. I've been a part of this game for years on and off. But since I've given up on my other games, this is my primary one that I will play now. But I do need a loan from the security council. Sincerely, Dr Philip Goode |
Green Starfish (Kebir Blue) | Saturday, December 4, 2010 - 03:15 am Dr. Goode - We are glad to have you! I have proposed aid for his country. For general getting the hang of the game I would recommend hanging out in the SCCAFE chat room and reading some of the older posts in these forums. |
