Just about everything is green. Prices are low, products are hard to sell, and there are not a lot of corporation types that reliably make money. Even factory maintenance units, which are a staple of most worlds, have fallen to the point where my FMU corporations are losing a lot of money.

I'm guessing it's because there aren't a lot of people playing on KB, but the problem is that the difficulty faced in actually making money on KB probably drives people away from it.

In cases where the economy contains more products than it can consume, I think C3 corporations should cut back on production or maybe even close down.

What do you think?

Yes. I agree. I ventured to KB a while back to level up and hoped to have an econ-based empire to fund my warlike habits elsewhere. I found that countries built on worlds like LU that would make 200b profit per month would only make 80b profit on KB. Everything sucked. KB is a slowing world, and I would like to see something be done to help it out.

The growth cap on C3s needs to be removed on KB. The market there is lacking sustainable mass because of the low player population.

Maybe when C3s get up to 15-20M+ or so on there it will lure people back, and in the mean time the corps supported by the larger C3s will increase the market.

Also, the GM should really stop "fixing" the quality of C3 corps. If you look, they have 0 upgrades, and buy at 100Q, yet their products are produced at 185Q.

Maybe if the C3s played by the same rules as the players it would help move more goods.

There is a low player population becuase this CEO world loses its appeal after a couple trillion clicks. Maybe a world war, or something to that effect to get it sparked? Seemed to work on LU

I think it is because of the recession. A lot of would be players don't have the time, patience, or money to spend on a game like this.

It is definitely getting harder to make money. I make money now maybe one month out of four.

I don't think war is the answer, maybe the gamemaster could stimulate the economy somehow.

War is ALWAYS the answer! lol

I agree that the economy is slow on KB, and I think it may be a vicious cycle: Because it is slow, players don't want to play here, which depresses the market, which causes even less player interest, which further stagnates the market, etc....

So far, I can always make money every month, but I have a pretty diversified economy, so something is generally selling well. I wouldn't want the GM to do a "deus ex machina" until things get worse, unless such a move would in fact draw more players to KB, thus fostering a long-term economic improvement.(I know; it is nearly impossible to predict the effects of such intervention.)

Just build as many corporations as you dare yourself and pretty soon the demand for some products will increase substantially.
