I Need help, tell me everything you can! |
Billy_Bob_Joe_Bob_Steve (Kebir Blue) | Friday, July 22, 2011 - 07:30 pm I don't know about the others, but I know that you have to put mid-range missiles in a unit. I usually put them into Long Range Divisions. Conquered a country last night actually. |
Crafty (Kebir Blue) | Friday, July 22, 2011 - 11:20 pm Conv and LBC you select a target, choose how many batteries to fire at once, and press go. |
Redman (White Giant) | Friday, December 30, 2011 - 12:31 am How do Rapid Deployment Forces work? I've been trying to figure out how to use them. |
nix001 (Fearless Blue) | Friday, December 30, 2011 - 05:25 pm Air drop them into the enemies country then wait for about 12 hrs maybe longer for it to set its self up then you can use it as a air base to air transport units to. Trust seems to take for ever for it to sort its self out. Its as rapid as waiting for SuperSoldierRAP?.....REP?....RIP? to sort out a asset package after robbing a corp from an enterprise. ;) I know its Christmas Holidays just had to drop that in ;) |
nix001 (Fearless Blue) | Saturday, December 31, 2011 - 01:14 am Only kidding SSRCP. I have been drinking and thought I'd be funny I knew you would be busy and Thanks for sorting that out. And I should point out how loosely I used the word robbing to the rest of you. SSRCP, due to my enterprise being in debt, thought that I had abandoned it and decided not to let good corps go to waste. And as SSRCP squared up with me after a friendly reminder I know there was no robbing going on. I often try to be funny when drunk Peace&Hardcore.............Nix001.........MNA |
Redman (White Giant) | Saturday, December 31, 2011 - 10:30 pm Thanks for explaining rdf Nix. |
xiong | Saturday, June 23, 2012 - 10:54 am as i've posted in another thread, about 50% of the products in sc are military related. i too wish there are guides on what each of the product is and how to use them. would be very helpful to us non-military minded players. |
Marshal Ney | Sunday, June 24, 2012 - 10:05 pm for guides on what the military products do - go to documentation. Look at the defensive index for defensive military units, and the attack patterns of offensive units (what the rough percentage of destroyed units by type is). Those two should give you a rough idea on how to set up force ratios. Blend it with your preferred play style. |
xiong | Monday, June 25, 2012 - 12:05 am @marshal, thanks, seem like a guessing thing. i'm trying to figure out why a certain units have to have a certain number of weapons, ammos, etc. there is a limit on each type of units you can setup. is there something wrong with having an air unit of just 10,000 fighter planes? |
Marshal Ney | Tuesday, June 26, 2012 - 12:19 am umm, game balance. I'm figuring that's behind the number of weapon platforms you can put into each unit type. 10k fighters really wouldn't be an airwing. but within the maximum limit of the unit in question, you can go all of one type. 500 fighter air wings, 500 precision bomber bomber wings (although you might want to add 50-60 fighters instead), LRD's of all mid range missile batteries, or MRB's/heavy artillery only etc. the way they are set up is just defaults - to help the completely new, until they can start adjusting for their play style and etc. Each weapon type has it's own benefits - whether more damage, more survivability, or more inexpensive costs. Crafty | Tuesday, June 26, 2012 - 08:42 pm Just blast everything with wave after wave of NFP... Lol, those were the days |
xiong | Tuesday, June 26, 2012 - 11:34 pm @marshal, i'm just wondering if i'm the player that flavor air power over land power, then i should be able to setup an air unit of 10,000 fighter planes. but testing the war now is that fighter planes cannot damage weapons nor cities. which are odd in itself too. also is there a way to have more than one unit attacking a target at the same time? as of now i can't pick more than one attacking unit on a target. @crafty, there must be a way not to waste ammo and weapons. even drones cost a few million sc$ and about 80% of the military related products cost millions sc$, billions sc$, and trillions sc$ also now that you can't even buy precision bombers or strategic bombers on the world market too. and if you don't got visa, with space shuttles then you won't get to a space center to get these weapons either. |
Crafty | Thursday, June 28, 2012 - 04:41 pm Thats why, xiong, you will see the advice "dont worry about war until you have a good economy" plastered all over the place. |
xiong | Friday, June 29, 2012 - 01:45 am @crafty, thanks for the reminder. my country had a few trillion before i started another war. i thought that the only way to learn the war game is to declar one again. obviously, i was short sighted to deactivate, then declare and reactivate military resource. took the wi to less than 10 then ran out of ammo and weapons, waiting to deactivate. now that country's wi is at about 20 again. at what economic level should you go to war? |
