| Friday, June 24, 2011 - 07:26 am that depends on what your are airlifting, and how many air transport units, how far, and how many hops you must make. usually, i'll airlift 3-5 LRD, with 20 Air transport units, (1000 military transport planes,) and it takes less than an hour. how ever, not terribly long ago, i airlifted 8 fully equipped air wings with bombers, and fighters, ammo... i was transporting them over the 10k range, meaning i had to airlift them twice, a *double hop,* i was using 190+ air transport units, some where in the neighborhood of 9500+ military transport plain. and i ended up waiting 8 hours for both hops to finish. needless to say, i found that rather useless. for raiding C3s, the 3-5 LRD are more than you'll need. for fighting players, well, its a good thing that we get 48 hours before war starts... because transporting the units you may need, will take some time. tip, try to keep the ammo, to what you think you will actually use. i mean, the more stuff you put into the unit, the longer it will take. i think that it is over all worth the effort. provided, you don't get too ambitious
