Matt Patton (Golden Rainbow) | Saturday, June 18, 2011 - 09:00 pm rapid deploy units seals special forces how the heck do I use the air construction unit I thought I could airlift ground troops to it I am having to buy up air and naval weapons |
Josias (White Giant) | Sunday, June 19, 2011 - 01:50 am the rapid deployment units, are air dropped. after the air drop is complete, it takes 12 hours, and it creates a remote depo and an Offensive airbase where you dropped the RDU. the o airbase allows you to airlift in units, but you'll need to dismantle the RD in order to see the air base under it. special forces, are air dropped into enemy territory, and used to paint, while you shoot the enemy with cruise, bombers, and navy. seals are good against players, not so usefull against computer controlled countries. as far as seals go, i'd encourage you to look at the war documents closely, to decipher their usefullness RDU, and SF are very useful, and are common units that most heavy war players will use, liberally. |
Matt Patton (Golden Rainbow) | Sunday, June 19, 2011 - 04:13 pm good so the rapid depoly unit does work it just takes a while cause using air power is expensive as hell |
Josias (Little Upsilon) | Monday, June 20, 2011 - 01:51 am yes, and yes something i'd like to high light again. when the RDU creates an RD, and O airbase. the RD will sit right on top of the O air base, and block you from being able to click on it, (selecting from a list doesn't work,) so you must dismantle the RD, and wait for that to complete, then you'll notice your O airbase where you dropped your RDU |
Matt Patton (Golden Rainbow) | Monday, June 20, 2011 - 05:26 am I lifted some units but they did not move RDU no long shows on the list |
Scarlet (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, June 21, 2011 - 05:15 am RDU doesn't move. After 12 hours it disappears and creates an Offensive Military Airport w/ Remote Depot at the location you airlifted it to. |
