Oh yeah sorry.. the full name of it is the 'New Little Upsilon Order' and currently were voting in the fed to change it's name to the 'Twelve nations.
But Hydra however is an evil fed that is full of big arrogant dictators. They say they preach freedom but really this is just to sidetrack you so they can get your country trapped so you can't expand. Trying to get you subjugated and submit to them, just like what happened with King Hez of the 'Isrealite Empire'.
Who ever you join is up to you Iain, but just remember that once you join them theres no going back. |

Yea, we are a bunch of big bad meanies. You should join james in the kiddy pool, where the life guards will make sure no one does anything to any one.

On a serious note. The NLUO, and Hydra are of opposite political alignments.
The NLUO is heavy structure, and organization, claiming to government LU. And claims to incorporate all on the planet, into their organization. With internal power based on the size of your empire, and federation.
Hydra is for individual sovereignty, and promotes the individual over the group, while maintaining the strength of the team, via the strength of the individual. Tying them together with communication, and both individual, and common group goals.
I'm not trying to recruit you, as it is bullying for us to express our opinions, or to expand our fed. I mean, its just not fair that we even exist. Some even consider our very existence an act of war! |

Geez, the boards are going to get so confusing.
The NLUO is changing and is going to be an important place to start and learn the game. It is not a fed and I would encourage you to join, read, and participate particularly on the treasury forum where we will be discussing running a successful country. This will give you an opportunity to learn the game with people who can help and you will not need to commit to a federation.
With that said, Hydra is the most awesome fed on LU and you should definitely seek out Josias or any of the other great Hydra members if you still wish to pursue a federation. |
