We are a new federation, building up from the ashes of the Union of National Proletarian States. Our federation's philosophy mainly involves economic and military isolationism. The best way to prevent conflict with other federations is not to have diplomacy with them in the first place.
We focus on building our own economies. We avoid the international market, and trade almost exclusively with each other over our common market.
So what can you gain from joining? Good question. Here's a list of some of the benefits you'll get:
-Guaranteed peace. You need not worry about war because we are a peaceful federation.
-Independence from the international market. If the whole market crashes, you will be unaffected because you trade within the common market...isolated from the rest of the world. The rest of the world could all crash, but it won't make any difference to you!
-Friendship. Everyone in this federation helps each other out. One country's problem becomes everyone's problem.

well having been there and done that, i gotta say, that whole economic isolation thing would work if you could manage to be big enough to sustain the whole of your markets. but that unfortunately probably wont happen. as far as diplomatic isolation goes, and perhaps you dis agree... but it has been my experience that all that gets you is attached and Blown up! personally!, I don't recommend it. but then that is only my opinion. not to mention im pro democracy... |

Well, look what democracy did to the old Union. They completely desecrated the meaning of what it is to be a National Proletarian state. As long as we stay below war level 3, keeping diplomatic isolation is easy because we cannot be attacked at all. |

Truth be told, I am also pro-democracy. Unfortunately, democracy didn't work last time so I am trying a dictatorship. Maybe dictatorship won't work either, but we won't know that until we try it. If dictatorship also fails, I will probably start a new federation that is a compromise between dictatorship and democracy...maybe a republic. But let's just see what happens with the dictatorship first. |

the biggest problem i see you facing is the fact that Dictatorships dont work well for a couple of reasons. a true dictatorship is built on to infallible principles . that being Fear, and Intimidation. neither can really be projected here in a game like this , leaving the system with no backbone. |

Well, two reasons:
1. I'm not a capitalist. So an enterprise isn't my style.
