Zen | Monday, September 21, 2015 - 03:55 am Question 1: If I decide to switch one of my slaves to the empire leader, will I have any score penalty AND/OR will the secured mode on my previous leader be moved to my slave, or completely turned off whilst my new leader also isn't in secured mode. Sounds stupid, but I'd like to know before I take the risk since my slaves are both over 10k score with my leader at 9.7K( and I have no idea how ) this is my KB empire Zenovski, South Zenovski, and East Zenovski. Question 2: Population. I've gained up to 90 million through gc and slave transfer on both my countries Zenovski Kb and Clarines Lu, both less than a few game decades old. I've read up on how keeping high health can cause high avg age and high retirees with low young population causing a population decline and higher social security. I need to keep my health over 130 in order to keep my level and leaderboard position for gc rewards. Is it safe to keep them up for a few more days, or should I, after I get my first place rewards( If I do )start reducing health index immediately? Question 3: Weapon and Ammo quality upgrades. After I get my ammo and weapons upgraded in their units, will they retain that value if I delete the units?( will they be at for example 450 in my stock or will they revert back to their original quality I purchased them at ) Now I've already read up on population control, so I'd just like clarification if I should lower health index once I'm settled. I am on the path of the econ player, but I want to get involved with war eventually. I read up on old posts about war, and checked wildeyes' guide for defense. Which I was told is obsolete in a few ways since it's old. I feel like I know the basics of this game pretty well now, but I still have too many questions that may seem annoying for others... sorry about that. Simple one sentence answers are fine, I'd greatly appreciate the help. |
Aries | Monday, September 21, 2015 - 05:31 am 1. Can't answer changing leader country from experience. However, score penalty affect all player scores on all worlds. Secured mode can be turned off and on. I would assume the old leader country losses it and the new one would have the option to turn it on on the war page. 2. I prefer not to tell you what to do. Your analysis is true that the higher health index will lead to an aging population. 120 is as high as I am usually comfortable with. Consider simply not constructing hospitals as you add to population through worker transfers. I would also consider being careful with GC pop buys, depending on your average age. The purchased pop will be similar in age demographics as your current. If your average age is creeping higher, this can create some long-term country aging issues. 3. Disbanded units will release their weapons and ammo to your country stocks. All weapons and ammo their will then average their quality to provide a new quality value to the stack. It is less useful to disband if you are trying to maintain a few elite units. It is more useful if your goal is to increase your overall stock quality. -Yeah, careful with those old war guides. The game has changed. |
Zen | Monday, September 21, 2015 - 06:34 am I see. Thank you for that. I probably won't change my leader on kb unless I get passed. Only reason for asking the weapon quality is for trade between my empires on other worlds. |
Bennett.falvo | Sunday, January 24, 2016 - 11:02 pm I'm new to this game and I was wondering why do my military units systematically disband without me doing anything? Is the AI putting them in reserve? Disbanding them? And why? Is it because I can't support them? |
Dominik | Sunday, January 24, 2016 - 11:10 pm @Bennett.falvi: Units get disbanded if certain ammunition used by the unit isn't in stock anymore. This ammunition is necessary for training purposes, and when there's a shortage, the unit gets disbanded. Highly annoying and happened to me several times as well.. Don't understand this, since military units in real life also don't get disbanded and sent home if there's a shortage of bullets :-/ |
jmcwhelahan | Monday, January 25, 2016 - 01:27 am well we do go home if we go to the range and we shoot all the bullets... however we dont get disbanded lol |
Michael | Monday, January 25, 2016 - 10:25 pm the new leader country gets the secured mode and the country that was the leader now turned into a slave loses it |
