jorgefuentes2007 | Friday, May 24, 2013 - 11:57 pm Hello im a returning player (i played a few years back never made it too far due to the extensive limitations on free players) Now i am in a debt that is going to take a good while to remove with my current income. i have deactivated most of my weapons but it has done little to speed up my process of gaining a positive cash hold. just wondering what i can do to get out. |
Crafty | Saturday, May 25, 2013 - 12:02 am It is a MUST that you post your country name (accurately) and what world you play on to get any meaningful help. Otherwise it would just be random guesses. |
jorgefuentes2007 | Saturday, May 25, 2013 - 10:07 am Facultas Animus Imperium Kebir Blue sorry its been a while since I've been on simcountry let alone the forum. Maybe i went to quickly in getting a second country? Or possibly the fact that i maintain 100 defensive fortifications? |
jorgefuentes2007 | Saturday, May 25, 2013 - 10:08 am Thanks ahead of time for the help by the way. |
Christos | Saturday, May 25, 2013 - 01:41 pm Well, I took a look and the answer is simple: You have way too much of an army to support. That's the main (if not only) reason you're in debt. Your income is 25B/month (with 15B of it being beginner support, i.e. temporary) and you pay 4.5B/month in military costs. To give you the contrast, my main in KB has around 87B/month income and spends 3.8B for its army! So you have to sell your arms and after you do that you can apply for Security Council Aid to build schools, roads, hospitals etc. because otherwise you'll have no chance to proceed and prosper. If you apply for aid before you sell your weapons you'll probably lose the vote, as many players are sceptical about giving 2T for free if a country has a big military ;) |
jorgefuentes2007 | Saturday, May 25, 2013 - 08:57 pm i was guessing as much. thanks for the council i have offered the bulk of my weapons on the market and now just waiting for them to sell. As for the security council, i cant seem to find where to apply for the aid. |
Christos | Sunday, May 26, 2013 - 12:03 am Just pm a member of the council (I'm one) to bring a proposal. |
