Can I ask which worker type to increase the priority of in order to train them into something please? AS in which workers are trained from LLW. I am happy enough to train them up and then convert to MLW and HLW but I have over a million LLW just now sitting. Any advice appreciated. Many Thanks and Merry Christmas! |

I, personally, always have a need for HT eng. and HT seniors, but thats me. your goals i'm sure are different than mine. But w/enuf eng. and seniors and all those LLW's you could start 6 or 7 Mining co. and put them to work in a profitable and underutilized arena. for what it's worth. |
Andy | Monday, December 24, 2012 - 06:02 pm Increasing your education levels (Education index at 120 or higher) will increase the number of people being educated. All of them are coming from the low level workers group. check the education priorities page. check it every time you log in. Changing priorities changes the numbers gradually. this is one of the most important pages in the game. |
Teddy Bear | Monday, December 24, 2012 - 08:33 pm Thanks Andy, I do check the page regularly. However, I have an education index of about 140 and I still find that I have a very large number of LLW. Some players have advised me to have an education index of 180-200, but this seems very expensive. If all of my educated people come from the LLW group, then where do MLW and HLW come from, and why is there never enough of them? I find myself constantly reclassifying professionals into MLW and Particularly HLW. Will increasing my education index beyond 140 speed up the training, as in train more per month in each catagory? Crafty | Monday, December 24, 2012 - 08:37 pm I find I need the highest priority for hi tech engineers Ted. Closely followed by executives and senior execs. You wont use loads of LLM or even MLM (unless you have a big army - officers). Worst thing is to let school and hospital staff fall too low. |
Andy | Tuesday, December 25, 2012 - 01:25 pm The number of educated professional in each group depends on: 1. The population 2. The education index 3. The priority for the group. so yes, if the education index is higher, the numbers will become larger. MLWs and HLWs are always a percentage of the population although there are movements between these groups based on numbers available and numbers required. LLWs are also a percentage but a percentage less the numbers that are moving upward. Massive upgrading of corporations changes the required numbers in each group. This can increase the need for professionals and decrease the need for LLWs. once your corporations are upgraded, this distortion ends or is reduced when most corporations are upgraded to the max. |

I had just recently built 15 or so new corporations so I will be patient whilst they upgrade and then train my workers. I will also take the advice of other players and increase my education index to 150+ /hugs Teddy |
Andy | Wednesday, December 26, 2012 - 06:25 pm The distribution of the population does not influence the education parameters except for extreme cases when there are just not enough people available. For the highest education levels, you need workers in the higher age groups (30-35, 35-40). You can see the age groups per profession on the labor page. |

Crafty | Tuesday, January 1, 2013 - 03:00 pm Its just a matter of waiting for them to be born, lol. What you could do, if you have lots of other worker types spare, like nurses, teachers, low level managers (LLM) or even medium level managers (MLM) then from your education pages you can transfer the profession of them to your needed LLW. Altenatively, people will often swap worker types with you if you advertise in your worlds forum. But beware, thats not a straight one for one swap, it depends on salaries paid to each and a slight % leeway either way. It should work in your favour, but you'll lose valueable higher level workers in the trade off. |

maclean | Monday, January 7, 2013 - 01:50 pm One way to always have MLW and HLW on hand is to train LLMs, which are the easiest by far, and convert them to MLW and HLW. if you keep a surplus of 100,000 LLMs, you will always be able to convert the maximum number to MLW and HLW. |
