Drew | Tuesday, September 11, 2012 - 01:42 am Well, I would like to tell you to stop. Lol, those corps are mine! But ummm... on a different note, it really depends. The higher average salary allows your citizens to pay more for services around your country. But they can cost more. So it really depends on how you make your money, and what kind of country you want to lead. The real benefit of doing this, is that in order to increase the average salary level of your country you will not have to raise social security payment levels, you will not have your corps taking citizend out of the public sector. <- To explain that point if you wanted to raise average salaries without them you have to increase salaries directly. Keeping those salaries low but more advanced workers leaves you with a steady low Average LLW salary which is calculated in Social Security, Pensions, education, and healthcare costs to citizens. So keeping LLW salaries low can save a lot of costs. While the larger amount of higher level salaries can pay the costs associated with them. But it isn't all positive. The obvious high costs too mantain the proper education can be expensive. Efficiemcy upgrades can destroy your profitability. Also these super high tech corps. Tend to have much lower demand lebels and so are much ore susceptible to the corps moving into surplus. (much more competitive). At the moment Weapon Grade Components in our world are profitable but only because like 1.5 game years ago the amount of corps dropped by 25% in a single month. Before that Weapon Grade Components were in heavy surplus, and WEREN'T profitable. So the point is you will probably want to diversify a bit. |
