Cuebbe | Tuesday, July 24, 2012 - 03:42 pm hi, should i buy all my supplies from the common market? and if i buy from the common market example chemicals, software etc. did then the auto system buy the same on the world market? sometimes i buy no raw materials (canceled auto system) but it show every time in the coperations page raw materials cost 1,854M why? pls help |
Crafty | Tuesday, July 24, 2012 - 04:01 pm What it seems like you are saying is that the corp is reporting spending x amount each month on raw materials. What that means is the value of the supplies it used that month is x. Its not a figure of how much you bought. If you dont have auto supply turned on then eventually the corp will run out of stuff UNLESS you are having the corp buy supplies from somewhere else, like your common market supplies. PS. If you look at the value of supplies graph, or there is a line showing you the exact number, then you can tell how much you spent on actually buying the raw materials. |
Cuebbe | Tuesday, July 24, 2012 - 04:37 pm ah ok 1.) is that right when the supplies are less and i have the auto system on, it buys firstly from common market and then from international market? i should not accept contracst from common market? 2.) if my chemical Industrie need this supplies Electric Power Factory Maintenance Units High Tech Services Minerals Potassium Rubber Services Sulfur i will only order minerals by common market how does it gone? it only accepts all supplie orders in common market |
Madoff | Tuesday, July 24, 2012 - 06:16 pm 1) If you have any common market contract, you buy supplies according to that contract. You buy any other supplies needed from the international market. Accepting common market contracts is useful for specific circumstances. For example, if you want plutonium for your strategic weapons corps, then you can have them accept any offers from plutonium corps in your common market. That's easier and cheaper than producing your own plutonium. Or if your country wants to buy high quality weapons, then it's useful to accept offers from high quality weapons corps in your common market. A common market is especially useful if you're using an average supply quality strategy. It helps your corps get production contracts for the high quantity supplies they want with high quality, while the corps buy their other supplies at 120 quality from the international market. In other words, it's best to be very selective about which common market contracts you accept. That way you avoid buying expensive high quality that you don't need. 2) On the page for your corp, click on "Supplies," then click on "common market contracts for your corporation." Then find and accept the specific supply that you want. |
