xiong | Wednesday, June 13, 2012 - 10:17 am what is your primary decision to choose the specific worlds, specific continents, specific regions to build your country, empire, or enterprise? i've look through all the 5 worlds and most of the regions in each world. i find it difficult to pinpoint to what should be the driving force to put my empire/country on? why would you choose KB, FB, GR, WG, or LU? are there advantages and disadvantes in each of those worlds? maybe this has been asked, but i can't find it on the forum. thanks for your help |
Marshal Ney | Friday, June 15, 2012 - 03:24 am Certain products can only be manufactured on certain worlds. (I don't have a completed list yet, as I'm only on two). Fearless Blue is the "war" world. I'm thinking of that as a pvp arena. |
Crafty | Sunday, June 17, 2012 - 07:16 pm FB - pays a lot more for warring C3s, thats probably one major advantage. But there is no secured country, and you could easily be bashed for upsetting someone. But war is rare-ish nowadays. KB - Old age retirement home, mediocre economy, quiet, and I am the Boss ;) LU - Busiest planet, can be profitable, was known to be very volatile, and could be again. But a good active world. GR - My best finance place, but I dont hold a lot of military there. Couple of good feds. Ticks over nicely but there have been some fed wars not too long ago. WG - Not really qualified to say, but seems much like GR. |
Marshal Ney | Monday, June 18, 2012 - 12:59 am Crafty, to expand on your first line - at what war level is that? Making progress slow there, as I want about a 3k combined offense/defense score before I get to war level 3. At the first two war levels, rewards are the same. |
xiong | Monday, June 18, 2012 - 06:29 am thank you crafty, saw one of your fb country, it's in its own region on a continent. so i suppose no one bothers you there too. then there are other places with lots of empires/countries bunching together too. i just can't think of some very good reasons yet to have just one country on fb though. my thought is that if i was to be on fb, i would put at least 40 countries on it to be able to produce the military resources (soldiers, weapons, ammunitions, and so on) to survive on that world, as well as transport to my countries in the other worlds. there doesn't seem to be much incentives to be in all the worlds, other than fb to produce military gadgets, such as the strategic bomber, precision bombers, and their ammos, and also nuclear weapons, and other strategic arsenals. perhaps someday, the gm/owner will designated that fb = best for military weapons kb = best for vacation spots and entertainment products lu = best for business/economics developments gr = best for obtain large piece of land and resources to transport to other world for processing/production wg = druglords, thefts, criminals, etc... just some ideas to increase or encourage players to build countries and empires in the worlds. |
Crafty | Monday, June 18, 2012 - 10:06 pm I think FB war level awards are 5X the norm??? I was sure this applied to all the levels. You would have to search the more recent game news or maybe the documentation has been updated. @xiong, one of main reasons to go to other worlds is you can do all the levels again and get the GC rewards for doing so. And there is a difference in the 'spin' of one or two worlds, i.e. 4 or 6 game months in a real day, so that could influence you too. For the love of Laguna I cant remember the spin rate of each world, someone will probably enlighten us. |
xiong | Tuesday, June 19, 2012 - 02:02 am so fb is the place to be if you can earn much more for the same efforts as in other world i was looking at some countries/empires on fb, most of them are very far apart. that nix001 president who has some 40 countries, just wow me too. but seems that the status of those countries are just average compare to those with less than 10 countries in their empires. i don't really like to repeat, the awards are not that great of incentives anyways. just trying to figure what makes this game tick, and who are the expert players. thank you laguna seems quiet these days, but his countries are impressive to me. |
xiong | Thursday, June 21, 2012 - 11:16 am looking around again, how does some get theire population to 300M, i.e. lord lee for AA1 on lu? i thought there was a limit to education index at 120? apparently not, at over 200 for this player. |
xiong | Saturday, June 23, 2012 - 10:38 am looking at the products created in sc, not surprising about 50% of them are military related. as some may have already posted, perhaps dedicated a world in sc that only peaceful products can be created. fb is already designated as a war world, so don't bother to have a secure mode for any country on there. let the war players do their destruction to each other, but fb is much desserted (empty). and i vote kb to be the peaceful world |
Crafty | Sunday, June 24, 2012 - 08:44 pm FB doesnt have secured mode. |
xiong | Sunday, June 24, 2012 - 11:47 pm crafty, i saw some countries on fb with secure mode, such as to sept 30xx? does that mean those are just the new players, still in the 2 earth weeks of protection? |
Tom Morgan | Monday, June 25, 2012 - 07:32 am I think KB has a really undervalued economy. It's been really profitable in the past few real months. |
Crafty | Monday, June 25, 2012 - 08:42 pm Xiong, are you sure you mean secured, or did you see war protection? Two very different things. Secured mode wouldnt show you a date whereas war protection would. |
SLAYEROFGODS | Monday, June 25, 2012 - 08:49 pm Do any other worlds run 6 months per 24 hours now besides LU ? I know the game documentation says there all running 3 months per 24 hours but..... |
xiong | Monday, June 25, 2012 - 11:45 pm yeah, it's war protection that i saw. what's the different? either one will not let others attack you? |
Crafty | Tuesday, June 26, 2012 - 08:27 pm I think you need to read the documentation again xiong. @slayer, sorry, cant remember myself, I think they all do except WG, 4 a day, but dont quote me on that. |
xiong | Tuesday, June 26, 2012 - 11:23 pm maybe i'm reading too much, can't remember which is which. thank you and i think i got it that wp is something you can buy boosters to do that. and secured moded is either given to you by gm or you decide whether you wanted or not. i'm correct now? |
xiong | Tuesday, June 26, 2012 - 11:56 pm another confusion is that military index = offensive index + defensive index + strategic index having two defenses indexes? and what's wrong with the word "military" not being used, is it too aggressive? |
Crafty | Thursday, June 28, 2012 - 04:19 pm @Slayer: Its official! WG and GR are 4 months a day, the rest are 6. |
Crafty | Friday, June 29, 2012 - 07:05 pm The defensive force index is a measure of the strength of your defense only. The defense index is a measure of the strength of your entire military. defense index = ((2x defensive force index) + offensive force index + strategic force index)/4 But yes, agreed that having two so closely named indexes can be confusing. |
xiong | Sunday, July 1, 2012 - 09:28 am @crafty, i'm merely stating that there are many words in the english language that could be used. though i do wish military is not a cost but could be a revenue as well, depending on how the player use it, i.e. soldiers of fortune, hire guns, etc |
Crafty | Sunday, July 1, 2012 - 01:42 pm It can be a revenue. Take C3s for the profit. Lots of players use their military to do just that everyday. Or get really good at war and take big players big countries for proper swag! |
xiong | Tuesday, July 3, 2012 - 12:05 am @crafty, maybe just me, but it cost more to take down a c3 then to earn something from a c3. i'm taking on c3 just to learn the war aspect of the game, and to climb the war levels. or to expand my empire. i rather be prepared for any lunatic player wanting to eliminate me, then not being prepare and asking for big mama (gm/owner) to protect me should such lunatic player comes around. as Mr. T say, "i don't pitty the fool" |
Crafty | Tuesday, July 3, 2012 - 03:07 pm You should get profit from taking a C3, keep learning, it will become as easy as pi for you. |
xiong | Wednesday, July 4, 2012 - 08:59 am i believe i have wasted a lot of weapons and ammos learning the war game. i wish i haven't use my precision bombers/bombs. it's no fun when you can't win, and you can't buy weapons/ammos cause you're negative cashflow. there's always encouragement to get gc with visa, but i'm trying very hard to stay away from being visa warrior |
Crafty | Wednesday, July 4, 2012 - 09:19 pm I retract my warring help to you xiong, as things stand it is most important you sort out your affairs at home before taking on another country. See my response on other thread. |
xiong | Wednesday, July 4, 2012 - 11:50 pm thank your crafty, great lesson learned. i suppose most new players are like me, too much cash then go to war. find out economy suffer greatly by going to war as i've already said, when your country is negative cashflow, then it's no fun. there's not much else to do except hang around on this forum |
xiong | Friday, July 13, 2012 - 02:38 am at 32 corps and still negative until i took a loan, but i'm sure that loan will not get me out out of negative cashflow. if anyone can advise on what's wrong with my setup, much appreciated. thank you |
